     Barry Barto Herring was born on 12 March 1957, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, PA.¹ He was the son of Barto Starr Erdman and Myrtle Arlene Knorr.^2,1 Barry Barto Herring died on 26 July 1980, Hegins Township, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 23, as a result of injuries suffered in an auto accident on Route 25, east of Hegins, PA.¹

Barry Barto Herring, 23, of 941 E. Main St., Hegins, died at 11 p.m., Saturday, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident on Route 25, east of Hegins.
He was born in Pottsville, March 12, 1957, a son of Mrs. Myrtle Herring, Hegins, and the late Barto Erdman. He was employed at Swatara Coal Co., Newtown.
A 1975 graduate of Tri-Valley High School, he was a member of Frieden's United Church of Christ, Hegins, and Hegins Fire Company.
Surviving in addition to his mother, are two brothers, Larry, Valley View, David, Hegins; two nephews; a niece; and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Alverta Knorr, Hegins.
Services will be held Wednesday morning from Frieden's Church, Hegins. The Rev. Donald Wetzel of Hegins will officiate and interment will be in Frieden's Cemetery, Hegins. Arthur R. Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View, has charge of arrangements.

     Stanley Erdman was born on 19 November 1915.² He was the son of John Jasper Erdman and Elura Grace Starr.¹ Stanley Erdman died on 28 February 1917, Rough and Ready, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 1.^2,1,3 He was buried on 1 March 1917, at Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery, Roughand Ready, Schuylkill County, PA.²

     Kenneth Delbert Erdman was born in 1959.^2,3 He was the son of Delbert Lamar Artz and Ella Larette Erdman.¹ Kenneth Delbert Erdman died on 8 January 2015.^2,3

Kenneth Delbert "Auckie" Artz, 55, of Valley View, PA, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 8, 2015.
He was the son of Ella and Delbert Artz. His father preceded him in death.
Kenny was a loving son and brother. He had a great affection for hunting and animals, especially his cat, Blackie.
He attended Tri Valley High School. Kenny was employed in his father's coal business for 11 years, Penn Reel for 11 years and Lindenmuth's Coal Breaker for 12 years.
Surviving him are his mother Ella, his siblings, Jim Erdman and his wife Betty of Enola, Sue Artz Cooper and her husband Robert of Boca Raton, FL. Nieces and nephews include Jason Erdman, Davanna Erdman Rickard, and Taylor and Cameron Cooper.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 10-11 AM at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, with the memorial service following at 11 AM with Rev. Duane Bardo officiating.
