     Margaret Alice Klinger was born on 22 March 1909, Berrysburg, Dauphin County, PA.2,3 She was the daughter of Jacob Francis Klinger and Grace Susannah Stiely.
     According to Bruce Hall, Margaret was baptized at St. Matthew's (Coleman 's) Church on May 14, 1909 (Source: Marguerite Elizabeth Lemmons), but one published set of church records does not list such a baptism.4,1,5 Margaret Alice Klinger married John Alfred Schwalm, son of Albert Peter Schwalm and Barbara A. Clark, on 16 January 1927, Zion (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.6,2,7,8 As of 16 January 1927,her married name was Schwalm.2,7 As of 3 April 1965,her married name was Martz.1,2 Margaret Alice Klinger married Daniel Albert Martz on 3 April 1965, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.5,2,8 Margaret Alice Klinger died on 26 February 2005, Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, Dauphin County, PA, at age 95.3

Margaret Alice Martz, 95, of Millersburg, formerly of Dalmatia and Klingerstown, died Saturday, Feb. 26, at Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg.
Born in Berrysburg, March 22, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Grace Rebuck Klinger. She was a retired machine operator from the former Muskin Shoe Co., Millersburg. She was a member of the Malta Church, Malta; and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Millersburg Moose.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Schwalm; her second husband, Daniel Martz; a son, Lawrence Schwalm; two sisters, Maude Brosious and Helen Brosious; and two brothers, Clair Klinger and Guy Kessler.
Surviving are a son, Leroy Schwalm of Klingerstown; two daughters, Elsie Lentz of Halifax, and Norma Schwalm of Millersburg; two step-sons, William Martz of Belfonte, and Fred Martz of Jersey Shore; a step-daughter, Evelyn Brockman of Fairbanks, Alaska; and two sisters, Martha Russell of Millersburg, and Eleanor Hoffman of Gratz.
Religious services will be held Wednesday, March 2, at 11 a.m. from Zion "Klinger's" United Lutheran Church, Erdman. Friends may call Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment will be in Klinger's Church Cemetery, Erdman.
