    Louise M Scheib, age 78, of Hegins, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Mount Carmel Senior Center, Mount Carmel.
    She was born on Thursday, November 2, 1944, in Valley View, a daughter of the late Alvin J Maurer and the late Mary E (Wenrich) Maurer.
    Louise was a hairdresser for fifteen years and retired as a reimbursement specialist for the University of Pennsylvania.
    She was a member of the Central Schwenkfelder Church, Worcestor.
    Louise enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and reading. She was very involved with her church..
    She was preceded in death by her parents; by a son, Timothy M Scheib, and a daughter, Tammy L DeMito.
    She is survived by a daughter, Vicki A Troutman and her husband Rodney of Hegins; son in law, Paul DeMito of East Norriton; five grandchildren, Cody Troutman and his fiancée Chantelle Neupauer of Auburn, Bianca Bukasa and her husband Kabongo of Pottstown, Tanner Troutman of Muncy, Danielle Edwards and her husband Terrance of Norristown, and Kaeleigh Scheib of East Norriton; three great-grandchildren, Nolan Edwards, Nori Bukasa, and Everleigh Troutman; brother, James A Maurer and his wife Karen of Litiz; and two nephews.
    Funeral services were held at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Inc, Valley View, on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 11:00 am, with Rev. David Mckinley officiating.
    A viewing was held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Wednesday at the funeral home.
    Burial was in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.

    Tammy DeMito, of East Norriton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 2, 2022 after a valiant battle with cancer. She was 56.
    Tammy was born on December 22, 1965 to Roger and Louise (Maurer) Scheib in Pottsville, PA.
    She is survived by her husband of 33 years Paul DeMito, two daughters Bianca Bukasa husband Kabongo and Danielle Edwards husband Terrance, one sister Vicki Troutman husband Rodney. Also surviving are two nephews Cody Troutman, Tanner Troutman, one niece Kaeleigh Scheib, two grandchildren Nolan Edwards and Nori Bukasa.
    Tammy was preceded in death by one brother Timothy Scheib.
    A 1983 graduate of Plymouth Whitemarsh High School, Tammy enjoyed vacationing with her family, cooking family feasts at gatherings on holidays and caring for beloved pet dogs, which she had many over the years.
    A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 12, 2022 at 11 am at The Central Schwenkfelder Church 2111 S Valley Forge Road, Lansdale, PA 19446.
    The family will receive relatives and friends 10 to 11 am at the church.

    Former owner of Oringer's Flowers in Harrisburg, he was retired from the Depart ment of the Defense and Fruehoff Trucking Co. He had a distinguished life-long career with the Boy Scouts of America and he received nu merous awards for service including the Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Award, Silver Beaver Award, George Meany Award, Shofar Award, DE Governor's Award, District Order of Merit and Distinguished Commissioner Award. He was a member of the Robert Burns Lodge F & AM of PA and Grand Lodge, A.F. and A.M. of DE.
    He was an avid stamp col lector and was involved with aeronautics since he graduat ed from high school in Bos ton and went to Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. He worked for Grumman Aero space and volunteered on the Apollo 11 project as an aircraft technician.
    Born in Boston, MA on April 29, 1917, he is the son of the late George and Jean Oringer. He was predeceased by his brothers, Allen and Roy Oringer, and his wife, Vivian M. Oringer, and a granddaughter, Trudy A. McCommon.
    He is survived by his daughters, Barbara A: Lynam and her husband, Michael of Wilmington and Martha L. Miller and her husband, Howard of Le moyne, PA, four grandchil dren and nine great grand children.
    The funeral service will be at 11 am on Thursday, Janu ary 20th at Congregation Beth Emeth, 300 W. Lea Blvd, Wilmington. Interment will be in Beth Emeth Memorial Park on Faulkland Road.     Born on December 11, 1940 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Sanford and Vivian (Klinger) Oringer. She was married to Howard C. Miller, Jr. who preceded her in death. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Trudy A. McCommon and a grandson, Ricky J. McCommon.
    A graduate of Central Dauphin High School, she was previously employed by The Radisson Hotel in addition to being a full-time homemaker.
    Martha was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
    She enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo, having coffee with her friends at the Towers, and listening to music by Reba McEntire and Elvis Presley.
    Martha is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Anna M. and Brian Bennett from Thompsontown, two sons and one-daughter-in-law Jeffrey M. and Angela Miller from Sunbury and Howard C.     Howard Charles Miller, age 76, of Wormleysburg, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Hospice Residence. Born in Steelton he was a lifelong area resident. He was a proud US Army Veteran and served as a cook for the US Military. He also worked at TRW, Weis Markets and as driver for Sherman Williams.
    Howard was an avid Minnesota Twins and Vikings Fan and enjoyed Blue Grass Music, Puzzles and camping.
    He is pre-deceased by his daughter Trudy A. McCommon as well as all his siblings.
    Howard will be sadly missed by his wife of 47 years, Martha L. Oringer Miller, their children Jeffrey Matthew Miller and his wife Angela of Sunbury. Anna M. Bennett and her husband Brian of Thompsontown and Howard Charles Miller III also of Sunbury. He is also missed by his 12 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
    Family and friends are invited to his memorial service on Monday, December 12, 2011 at the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m., with services to begin at 11 a.m., in the funeral home. His interment with full military honors will follow at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
