  • Funeral home obituary:
    Cindy L. Klinger
    March 5, 1960 - January 21, 2024
Cindy L. Klinger, 63, of Dalmatia, Pa, peacefully departed this world on Jan. 21, 2024, at her home in Chesapeake, Va, surrounded by family, after bravely battling pancreatic cancer until the very end. She was born on March 5, 1960.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Keith Klinger, 75, of Dalmatia, her loving mother Judith Strohecker, 86, of Dalmatia, son Jesse Troutman, 42, of Dalmatia, daughter Melissa Leake, 41, of Chesapeake, Va, three cherished grandchildren: Olivia Troutman, 18, Jayde Hauck, 17, and Mya Leake, 12, and sister Lisa Bohner, 58, of Halifax.
She was preceded in death by her brother Paul J. Strohecker, Jr., father Paul J. Stohecker (Pap), and sister Brenda Dane, all of Dalmatia.
Cindy’s life was a beautiful tapestry of love, family, and cherished moments. Her kindness and warmth touched the lives of many. She found joy in the beach, sunshine, her garden, painting ceramics, hibachi soup, and cooking, but her greatest joy was the time spent with her children and grandchildren.
As we immerse ourselves in the beauty of sunflowers, the rhythmic waves at the beach, the delicate petals of roses, and the sweetness of strawberries, we know she remains with us. In every sunbeam and every comforting gust of wind that feels like a hug, we remember that her spirit continues to reach across the beauty of life and we know that her presence transcends the tangible.
Private services will be held by the family at a later date. We are grateful for the outpouring of support and invite you to share your memories as we remember a remarkable woman. May her cherished memory bring comfort to those who loved her.2
