    MILLERSBURG- Richard N. Stoneroad- 81- of 4023 Shippen Dam Road, died Sunday May 31, 2009 at the Harrisburg Hospital. He was born October 24, 1927 in Inglenook, PA son of the late Lewis and Sara Gingrich Stoneroad. He was retired from G.R. Sponaugle Co. He is survived by his wife Ruth Matter Stoneroad; four sons - Roy of Herndon, Mike of Millersburg, Dennis of Paxinos, Randy of Tremont; two daughters, Linda Liddick of Halifax and Cathy Erb of Elizabethville; a sister, Sylvia Stoneroad of Halifax; 25 Grandchildren, 33 Great grandchildren, 3 Great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Ray and Robert; two brothers, Donald and Norman; a great-grandson, Robert Musser. Services will be held on Wednesday June 3, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home in Millersburg. Burial will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Halifax .     MILLERSBURG - Mrs Ruth E. Stoneroad, age 92, of Shippen Dam Road, Pennsylvania died July 21, 2022, at her residence.
    She was born on November 13, 1929 in Halifax, PA the daughter of [the late] Alfred and Sarah(Weaver)Matter.
    Ruth was the widow of Richard Stoneroad.
    She had worked at the former Muskin Shoe Factory, Millersburg. In the past she had attended Free Grace Brethren in Christ Church, Millersburg.
    She enjoyed her visits from her family and friends at home.
    Surviving are her children, Cathy Erb, Linda Liddick, Roy Stoneroad, Dennis Stoneroad, Randy Stoneroad and Michael Stoneroad; 25 Grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren and 15 Great Great Grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by two sons, Ray Stoneroad Sr., and Robert Stoneroad.
    There will be a viewing held at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Ltd., Elizabethville on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 10-11 AM Services will start at 11 AM with Rev. Joe Kopp officiating. Following the services, burial will take place at Riverview Memorial Gardens, Haifax.

    MYERSTOWN - Brett Allen Wiest, 37, of Myerstown, Pa. passed away Sunday August 27, 2023.
    Brett was born March 15, 1986 at Harrisburg, Pa.
    He was a graduate of Halifax High School where he was a distinguished wrestler and graduated from Bloomsburg University and the Reading School of Radiology. He enjoyed cooking and grilling.
    Brett is survived by his parents Jeffrey Wiest (Laura) and Pamela Sierer Wilbert (Randy) daughters Kayla and Taylor, brothers Adam J. Wiest and twin brother Bryan S. Wiest, his wife & daughters, a sister Julia A. Wiest and Grandmother Joan "Granny" Wiest.
    He was preceded in death by grandparents Walter and Mildred Sierer and Lindy Samuel Wiest.
    Honoring Brett's wishes there will be no services held.
