    Marlin Earl Schoffstall Sr., 57, of 768 E. Main St., Lykens, died Tuesday at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Hamsburg.
    Mr. Schoffstall was born in Lykens and was the son of Forrest E. Schoffstall, of Lykens, and the. late Florence Daniels Schoffstall. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He had been employed by ConRail as a locomotive engineer. He was a member of First Baptist Church, American Legion Post 124, both of Lykens; Loyal Order of Moose, Tower City, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.
    Surviving, in addition to his father, are his widow, the former Elsie Deiter; four daughters, Mrs. Robert Gunder, Berrysburg; Mrs. H. James Sweigert, Harrisburg; Mrs. Joyce Durham, Duncannon; Mrs. Eugene Crabb, Lykens; two sons, Marlin E. Jr. of Lykens; David G. of Killinger; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Emily Swab, Lykens; two brothers, Walter Sr. of Williamstown; Charles of Elizabethville.
    Services will be held Saturday morning from the John M. Shultz Funeral Home, Lykens, successor to Schaffstall and Shultz, with the Rev. Herbert Bulkley, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.3

    Mrs. Elsie Mae Schoffstall, 61, of 768 East Main St., Lykens, was found dead at her home Thursday morning. State police Thursday listed her death as suspicious.
    Mrs. Schoffstall, the daugher of Mrs. Daisy Hoffman Paulus of Lykens and the late Ruben Deiver [Deiter], was born in Powells Valley. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Lykens and a past president and treasurer of the Lykens Little Tiger Association.
    Surviving, in addition to her mother, are four daughers, Mrs. Helen Gonder of Berrysburg, Mrs. Alice Sweigard of Harrisburg, Mrs. Joyce Durhan of Duncannon and Mrs. Linda Crabb of Lykens; two sons, Marlin E. of Lykens and David of Halifax; 15 grandchildren; one great -grandchild; one sister Mrs. Susan Bohner of Lykens; seven brothers, Arthur and Gordon of Lykens, Harvey of Mechanicsburg, William of Coudersport, Lawrence of Long Isdand, New York, Donald of Lebanon and Woodrow of Carsonville.
    Services will be held Tuesday morning from the John M. Schultz Funeral Home, Lykens, with the Rev. Herbert L. Buikley officiaitng. Burial will be in the Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.
