    Mrs. Grace I. Wiest-Peiffer, age 92, of Annville, PA, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at Countryside Christian Community, annville, PA, where she resided the last six years.
    Mrs. Peiffer was born in Herndon R.D., PA, on June 13, 1913, the daughter of the late Adam and Sarah (Hain) Bahner.
    She was a homemaker.
    To many friends she was "Mom" and to other family members she was "Aunt Grace". She has been a member of God's Missionary Church most of her life and was a member of the Central Pennsylvania Gospel Band for a number of years. Her faith in God and her commitment to her Lord was strong and all who knew her loved her.
    She was the widow of Paul D. Peiffer,who died in 1988 and her first husband, Fred G. Wiest, died in 1969.
    She is survived by a sons, Marvin I. Wiest of New Haven, MI and Mark I. Wiest of Grassy Creek, NC; a sister, Mildred Kramer of Schuylkill Haven, PA; a number of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
    Religious service will be held at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, PA at 11 a.m., on Friday, May 5th, with Rev. Paul Miller and Rev. Albert Kehler officiating. Interment at God's Missionary Cemetery, Lykens, PA. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 7-9 p.m., at the funeral home.

    W.E. Bahner, 76, Of Snydertown, Once Of Sunbury
    Walter E. Banner, 76. a former resident of 631 Oberdorf Street, Sunbury, died at 11:30 a.m. today in the Sunbury Community Hospital. He had been patient since Sunday but had been in failing health the past two years.
    He waa born in Stone Valley September 26, 1889 the son of the late Adam and Sarah Hains Bahner. He was married to Pearl Dubendorf who preceded him in death July 29, 1955. Mr. Bahner was a construction worker for the Pennsylvania Department of Highways before his retirement.
    He was a member of the Emmanuel Bible Fellowship Church of Sunbury. He is survived by the six children, Mrs. Wallace Long, Dalmatia R.D Robert, Oaklyn; Elwood, Etters R.D; Mrs. Charles Rhoads, Snydertown; Mrs Frank Elster Jr., Northumberland and Melvin, Sunbury; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; eight sisters and one brother, Mrs James Stehr, McAlistervlile; Mrs. Ralph Romberger, Hershey; Mrs. Ray Kahler, Schuylkill Haven; Mrs, William Adams, Dalmatia R.D. Mrs. Jennie Bingiman and Mrs Clarence Shaffer, both of Millersburg; Mrs. Fred Weist, Nazareth and Mrs. Wilson Kramer, Schuylkill Haven R.D and Carmi Bahner, Montgomery.
    Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock from the Wirt funeral home, Sunbury. The Rev. M H. Wolfe, pastor of the Bible Fellowship Church, Sunbury, will officiate. Burial will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday after 4 p.m.
