    Virginia E. Klinger, 89, of Enola, went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2018. She was born in Shamokin to the late Violet and Joseph Kessler, graduated from Mt. Carmel High School and Pottsville Beauty School, and attended Living Water Community Church in Harrisburg.
    She was the widow of Ralph G. Klinger and was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Dustin Sawyer, Amy Cox Priest, and James Cox, Jr.
    She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Cox (James), Pamela Sersch (Chuck), Gale Beane (Claude), Sandra Sawyer, a son, David Klinger, and a sister Valerie Yoskoski (Alan). Also surviving are grandchildren Rebecca Cox Calabrese, Michelle Cox Hamdar (Mike), Michael Leonard, Lisa Beane Rayhart (Thomas), Jennifer Sawyer Berrier (Richard) and Jessica Sawyer, 17 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
    A private memorial service will be held at the Northumberland Memorial Park in Sunbury at the convenience of the family.

    Clarence Wilson Klinger, 89, of Harrisburg, died Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at his home.
    Mr. Klinger was born in Ashland, within the coal region of PA; a heritage in which he took great pride. He was the son of the late Clarence W and Romaine (Paul) Klinger. He was retired from the IRS, where he was a Revenue Officer. Later, he retired from the Commonwealth of PA Department of Revenue.
    Mr. Klinger was immensely proud to serve his country in the US Army during World War II. He made it his mission to support other veterans throughout his lifetime. He could be seen selling buddy poppies in the community, for the benefit of vets, up until the time of his death. He was a member of the Dauphin County Honor Guard; life member of the VFW #9639 in Shellsville, where he was Past Commander and an active member of the Board of Directors. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion #272, a life member of the American Vets and a life member of the National Home for Children through the VFW.
    Mr. Klinger was previously active in Cub Scouts and was a former Cub master. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus #869 and a member of the Holy Rosary Association. His love for fishing and hunting led to his membership with Delaches Fish and Game Club.
    Mr. Klinger was the widower of Evelyn L Klinger, his wife of 67 years, who died August 17, 2016 and was predeceased by his brother Ralph Klinger.
    Mr. Klinger is survived by his daughters Karen (Thomas) Shustack of Harrisburg and Elaine(Richard) Enders of Hummelstown; his son, Clarence W “Skip” (Roxanne) Klinger of Linglestown; his grandchildren, Joseph Klinger, Shawn Klinger, Tony Shustack, Kristin Barto, Devon Enders and Mac Enders; six great-grandchildren.
    A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday September 29, 2016 at 11 A.M. at the Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg. Inurnment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, with Full Military Honors.
    A Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10 to 11 A.M. at the church, prior to the Mass.
    In lieu of flowers, the family would request you consider a memorial contribution be made to: Holy Name of Jesus Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd, Harrisburg, PA 17112 or Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 115, Harrisburg, PA 17110.

    Mrs. Klinger was the daughter of the late Walter and Beatrice (McGinley) Yeager. She was retired from the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry, where she was manager of unemployment claims and later retiring from BonTon. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. One only had to meet Evelyn to know how much she valued faith, family and friends. She was fiercely proud of her hometown of Centralia, Pa. When she wasn't running to watch her grandchildren and great-grandchildren's activities, she found time to be involved. Her involvement extended to BINGO and baking for funerals in her church. She enjoyed sewing and was formerly active with Cub Scouts. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliaries and lifetime member of the VFW Post 9639 and the Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of Columbus Council 869.
    Mrs. Klinger was predeceased by her sister, Betty Weir and her brother, Thomas Yeager.
    Mrs. Klinger is survived by her husband of 67 years, Clarence W. Klinger; her daughters, Karen (Thomas) Shustack of Harrisburg and Elaine (Richard) Enders of Hummelstown; her son, Clarence W.
