    HALIFAX - Mary M. E. (Warfel) Shoop, 91, of Enders Road in Halifax died Saturday, June 3rd at Kinkora Pythian Home.
    She was born on Dec. 25, 1925 in Enders the daughter of the late Arthur and Olive (Lubold) Warfel.
    She was married in Enders on Sept. 9, 1942 to the late K. Dean Shoop. She attended Halifax U.M. Church where she helped with the church food bank. She was a Life Member of the Halifax VFW Aux., and the Fisherville Grange #2408.
    She is survived by her daughter Norma Rummel and her husband Roy, son Paul and his wife Shirley, son Clair and his wife Janice, son Mark and his wife Denise, and son Jerry, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by brothers Wilmer (Bill), Sherwood, Amos (Elmer), Richard, and Arthur (Chic), sisters May and Faye Warfel, and Gertie Bechtel.
    The family will receive friends from 9-11:00 AM on Friday, June 9th at Halifax U.M. Church. The funeral will begin at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Riverview Memorial Gardens.

    Mrs. Olive M. Warfel, 73, of Hali fax RD 1, died last Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Warfel, Halifax RD 2.
    She was a member of the EUB Church of Enders.
    Surviving are her husband, Arthur Warfel; four sons, Sherwood, Millersburg; Wilmer, Williamsport; Arthur, Halifax RD1, and Elmer, Lancaster; three daughters, Mrs. Dean Shoop, Halifax; Mrs. Robert Bechtel, Halifax RD and Mrs. Warfel; two brothers, Charles Lubold, Allentown; James Lubold, Elizabethtown; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Beiver of Watsontown; Mrs. Edna Warfel, of Halifax RD 1; Mrs. Dora Parmer of Halifax RD 2; 26 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
    Services were held Saturday at 11 a. m. at the funeral home at Berrysburg. Rev. Floyd Tice, a retired minister from Annville, officiated. Burial was made in Fairview Cemetery, Enders.
