Benjamin was born in Harrisburg, PA on October 5, 1957, the son of the late Carl Richard and Shirley Marie (Bohner) Burrell. He was a member of the Artisans of Harrisburg. Ben was a devote Christian and loved people. Surviving are Ben's companion, Beth Ann Wise, Harrisburg, an aunt, uncle and several cousins.
    Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 21, 2013 in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, PA, with Pastor Kurt V. Herzberg officiating.

    Richard Alvin Burrell, 95, of Harrisburg, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Cedar Haven Healthcare Center, Lebanon. Born on December 10, 1923 in Harrisburg, PA to the late George A. and Effie (Lupold) Burrell. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII, having served as a Sergeant with the Communications Chief Cryptographer. He was a recipient of the WWII Victory Medal. Richard was retired from the Commonwealth of PA as a management analyst. He was a member of the former Progress Immanuel Presbyterian Church. He greatly enjoyed building things, was a skilled carpenter, an avid book reader and enjoyed music and photography. Surviving are his wife Pauline L. (Earley) Burrell, three daughters Barbara A. Fasick and her husband John of Jacksonville, FL, Debra C. Arnold and her husband Keith of Harrisburg, Cheryl E. Albright of Harrisburg, 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Joanne Shaffner and a son-in-law Charles Albright. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at New Hope Church, 584 Colonial Club Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17112. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 in New Hope Church.
