    Rick E. Klinger, 65 of Crystal River, Florida died suddenly at home on April 12, 2021.
    He was born on August 12, 1955 to Harold E. Klinger and Irene E. Klinger (Ossman) in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. He was raised in Crystal River and played many sports including his favorite, baseball. He was also an Eagle Scout. Rick was a 1973 graduate of CRHS and then continued on to be a college graduate.
    Rick moved back to Crystal River 16 years ago from Phoenix, Arizona with his wife, after a long career in Nuclear Energy. His favorite place to visit was Daytona Beach, Florida. Rick was passionate about his family, many friends, and enjoying life with his wife of 30 years. He was a kind soul with a big heart and was admired and loved by all. He was a drummer, music lover and athlete.
    Rick was preceded in death by his father Harold E. Klinger 1984; mother Irene E. Klinger 2015; his sister Diane Palovitz and nephew Marc Palovitz.
    Survivors include his wife Carol Klinger of Crystal River, Florida; his daughters Misti Klinger of Crystal River, Florida and Amanda Smith of Ocala, Florida; sisters Carol Almaraz, Pat Ennis, and Bonnie Latz; grandchildren Nathaniel, Isaiah, Donovan, Caleb and Chloe Smith; great grandchild Natalie Smith; as well as nieces and nephews.
    Due to certain restrictions at this time, there will not be a public memorial service. His family will be honoring his wishes of cremation and a private memorial. They will also be posting an online video memorial and dedication for all to view and share their thoughts of this amazing man.

    William Ennis Sr., 53, of Main Street, Wilburton No. 2, passed away Tuesday morning at his residence.
    Born in Fountain Springs, Oct. 13, 1961, he was a son of William and Patricia Klinger Ennis, Ashland.
    He was a graduate of the former Cardinal Brennan High School, Fountain Springs, Class of 1979, and was employed by the former Goyne Pump Co. and Ashland Foundry, Ashland, as a grinder in the company's foundry department until his retirement in 2014.
    He was a member of the former St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, now St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, Ashland, and also a member of United Steel Workers Union Local 14372.
    Bill was an active part of youth sports. He began coaching with Ashland girls' softball in 2002. He helped develop and coach young athletes through the Susquehanna Valley Rebels. His career continued with coaching the North Schuylkill High School girls' softball. He made a lasting impression on the athletes he coached, with his soft spoken demeanor and gentle, reassuring smile.
    Preceding him in death was his sister, Suzanne Smith, in 2009.
    Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Berdine Manhart Ennis, whom he married Aug. 10, 1989; a daughter, Brooke Ennis, Bloomsburg; a son, William Ennis Jr., Wilburton; a brother, Steve Ennis and his wife, Robin, Gordon; his dog and best buddy, Daisy; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
    Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Celebrant will be the Rev. John Bambrick, pastor. Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fountain Springs. A viewing will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Richard W. Fritz Funeral Home, 1323 Centre St., Ashland.     ASHLAND — Suzanne Smith, 52, of 1739 Center St., passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2009, unexpectedly at her residence.
    Born in Ashland on March 20, 1957, she was a daughter of William and Patricia (Klinger) Ennis of Ashland.
    She was a 1975 graduate of Cardinal Brennan High School, and was of the Catholic faith.
    She married her high school sweetheart, Howard Smith, of Ashland, 34 years ago and always said he was the love of her life and her soulmate.
    She was employed at the Pioneer Tunnel in Ashland as a secretary, where she worked for 15 years.
    She adored her six grandchildren and spent a happy weekend at the beach with her family only two weeks before she passed away. Her family came first in all aspects of her life. Her most favorite time of year was Christmas, and she took great joy in buying gifts for her family and friends and decorating her home. She also loved her two dogs, Sophy and Molly. Those who knew Sue will always remember her for her wonderful sense of humor.
    In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Dawn and Shawn Reed, of Kulpmont, and Cortney Smith, of Mount Carmel; a son and daughter-in-law, Howard and Christina Smith, of Ashland; six grandchildren, Noah, Cody, Ireland, Anthony, Maddox and Brady; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Stephen and Robin Ennis, of Gordon, and William and Deany Ennis, of Wilburton.
