    Mabel A. Snyder
    Mabel A. Snyder, 84, of Rebuck, died at 2:10 p.m. Saturday in Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sunbury. She was admitted there Tuesday after having been a patient in Geisinger Medical Center from Oct. 21.
    She was born in the Dornsife area, July 31, 1901, a daughter of the late Levi and Katie Latsha Hoch.
    She was a member of Himmel's Lutheran Church and Sunday school, Rebuck, and sang in the choir for many years. She was a member of Himmel's Lutheran Church Women and Greenbriar Grange.
    Her husband, Charles W. "McNess" Snyder, died Oct. 25, 1984.
    Surviving are three daughters, Marian Klinger, Klingerstown area, Shirley Hopple, Sunbury area, and Darlene Schwalm, Pine Grove area; two sons, Derl and Bruce, both of Rebuck; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Snyder, of Rebuck, and Bertha Rebuck, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Himmel's Church with the Rev. Paul Billow officiating. Interment will be in Himmel's Cemetery, Rebuck. There will be no viewing Tuesday evening. Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, is in charge of arrangements.

    Funeral Held for Rebuck Area Man
    Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:00 in Himmel's Church, Rebuck, for Levi Hoch, a native of the Rebuck area, who died Sunday in Kepler Convalescent Home, Elizabethville, after an illness of five years.
    Rev. Paul Billow, Lutheran pastor of the Rebuck Church, officiated. Burial was in Himmel Church Cemetery.
    A farmer in the Rebuck area during his active years, Mr. Hoch has been a guest at the home for the past year. He was a member of Himmel's Lutheran Church, and a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Red Cross.
    Surviving are three sons, James E., Fred and Francis all of Dornsife R.D; five daughters, Mrs. Maudie Kauffman, Mrs Grace Bordner, Mrs. Bertha Rebuck, Dornsife, R. and Mrs Mabel Snyder and Mrs. Margaret Geist, Rebuck; 40 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
