    CHARLES M. HENRY
    Charles M. Henry, 70, of Valley View, a resident of that community all of his life, died Friday at 7:50 p.m. in the Good Samaritan Hospital, Pottsville, where he had been admitted as a medical patient on October 5.
    Born July 16, 1890 at Spring Glen, Mr. Henry was a son of the late Jacob and Miah Herb Henry.
    A retired miner, he was a member of Junior Order of United American Mechanics of Spring Glen, United Brethren Church of Valley View, and its Sunday School and Men's Bible Class.
    Surviving are his wife Lottie; a daughter, Mrs. Leslie Harner, of Tremont; four sisters: Mrs. Minnie McCready, of Williamstown Miss Phoebe Henry, of Spring Glen; Mrs. Annie Romberger, of Valley View and Mrs. Pearl Miller of Tower City; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
    Funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from United Brethren Church at Valley View. Pastor Schwartz, assisted by the Rev. H. M. Mentzer, officiated at the services and interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.

    Services for Lottie M. Henry, 93, of 1461 W. Main Valley View." will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View. The Rev. Donald Fishel will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be no calling hours Tuesday evening.
    Robert Miller Funeral Home, Valley View, is in charge of arrangements.
    Mrs. Henry died Friday evening in Reading Hospital and Medical Center.
    She was born Feb. 17, 1891, in Klingerstown area, a daughter of the late James and Lizzie [Kluck] Miller.
    She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Ladies' Bible Class and Tri-Valley Senior Citizens.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles.
    Surviving are a daughter, Hilda, wife of Leslie Harner, Pine Grove; two granddaughters. Janice, wife of George Wolfe, Wyomissing and Jane Mary, wife of Ronald Barnes, Camp Hill; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Leon Miller, Klingerstown area.

    John was born in Lykens RD, PA on December 25, 1937, the son of the late Jay and Mary (Crowley) Laudenslager.
    He was a member of Klingers Zion Lutheran Church, Lykens, PA 17048; and was retired as a Dock Worker at ABF Trucking, Carlisle. He was a lifetime member of the Gratz Fire Company; a lifetime member of the Herndon Fire Company; an active member of the Erdman Sportman Association; and a social member of the Gratz VFW.
    John is survived by his wife, Carole Laudenslager; four sons, Bradley Laudenslager and wife, Nancy of Lykens RD, PA, Robert Laudenslager of Millersburg, PA, Todd Laudenslager of Elizabethville, PA, and Kevin Laudenslager and wife, Amy of Elizabethville, PA; five sisters, Shirley Troutman of Herndon, PA, Joyce Geist of Leck Kill, PA, Sandra Huff, and Nancy King, both of Elizabethville, and Susan Lucas of Tremont, PA; a brother, David Laudenslager of Berwick, PA; and 7 grandchildren.
    Friends are invited to call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, PA. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
