    ELIZABETHVILLE - Ronald Lee Klinger, 59, of 195 Simon Blvd., passed away Sunday, September 10, 2006 at his residence.
    Mr. Klinger was born in Pennsylvania, on June 3, 1947, the son of the late Elsie I. (Heberling) and Mark I. Klinger, who survives him of Millersburg.
    He worked as a bus driver at CAT Share-a-ride; and in the past, for Dauphin County Transportation, and Swab Wagon Company, all of Elizabethville.
    He was a member of Trinity U.C.C., Tower City.
    Graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville, at 2 p.m., on Monday, September 18th, with Rev. Edward Gobrecht officiating.
    Donations may be made to his church at 448 East Grand, Tower City, PA 17980.
    Hoover Funeral Home, Inc., Elizabethville, is handling the arrangements.

    Mr. and Mrs. Charles Klinger, of Washington Township, have been advised by the War Department that their son, Pvt. Mark I. Klinger, was "seriously injured" in an accident on a South Pacific island, January 24th. A letter containing further information will follow, the parents were advised.

    He was born Saturday, July 29, 1922 in Elizabethville, the son of the late John and Alice Klinger.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie I. (Heberling) Klinger and his son Ronnie Lee Klinger.
    He was a veteran of the US Army and served in the Pacific during World War II, and was awarded the Purple Heart for his injuries while serving. He worked as a Civilian Employee for the Middletown Military Base. He was a member of Trinity UCC, Tower City.
    Surviving are his sister Betty Klinger of Lebanon; a nephew Larry Punch and his wife Linda of Dauphin, a niece Nancy Zapcic and her husband Thomas of Middletown; and many other great nieces and nephews.
    Graveside services will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 12:30 PM with the Rev. Edward Gobrecht officiating. Hoover - Boyer Funeral Homes, Elizabethville is handling the arrangements.
    Contributions may be made to his church at Trinity UCC, 446 Grand Ave., Tower City, PA 17980.

    Elsie I. Klinger, 91, of 990 Medical Road, Millersburg, formerly of Elizabethville, died Monday at Manor at the Susquehanna Village, Upper Paxton Township.
    Born in Tower City, Nov. 13, 1913, she was a daughter of the late John and Charlotte Warfel Heberling.
    She was a retired seamstress, having worked at the former Bestok Clothing Factory, Tower City.
    She was the wife of Mark I. Klinger.
    Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Ronald L. Klinger, Elizabethville; a sister-in-law, Betty Klinger, Lebanon; cousins.
    Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville, with the Rev. Edward Gobrecht officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.     She and her late husband founded Romberger Furniture in Nov 1949; where she remained active until the present.
    She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
    She was active in the Johannes Schwalm Historical Association and the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art.
    Orpah enjoyed gardening, art, nature, history, genealogy, and music.
    Her husband Harold C Romberger passed away in 1987. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Dr Ivan Schwalm and Dr Glenn Schwalm; and by a sister Irene Miller.
    She is survived by a daughter Gail L Romberger of Lindenwold, NJ; two sons Stuart A Romberger and Harold P Romberger both of Valley View; a grandson Daniel J Romberger of Valley View; three granddaughters Kelly Y Musolino, Kristie A Klinger, and Alexa D Romberger all of Valley View; three great grandchildren; a sister Ferne Furman of Valley View; and several nieces and nephews.
    A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday, July 1, 2012, at the Buffington-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View.
    Funeral services will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Monday, July 2, 2012, at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Duane Bardo and Rev. Carl Shankweiler officiating. There will be no viewing on Monday at the church.
    Burial will be made in the Church of God Cemetery, Valley View.
    Memorial contributions can be made to the Tri-Valley Ministerium, 900 W Main St., Valley View PA 17983 or to St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 221, Valley View, PA 17983.
