    Mrs. Bohner, 72, Hebe Resident
    Mrs. Carrie E.-Bohner, 72, of Hebe, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at her home. She had been under medical care the past two years, but death was sudden and unexpected.
    Mrs. Bohner was born June 27, 1895, in Washington Twp., a daughter of the late Elias and Ellen W[e]tzel Snyder. She had been operating a general store in Hebe since the death of her husband, W. O. Bohner, in 1955.
    She was a member of David's Lutheran Church and the Ladies' Aid Society of the church. She had served as secretary of the church board for a number of years.
    Survivors include two sons, Leon Mattern, Halifax, and Ralph Bohner, Dornsife RD; four daughters, Mrs. Charles (Olive) Weller, Herndon RD; Mrs. Lura Walkinshaw, Herndon RD; Mrs. Miles (Arlene) Rickert, Valley View; and Mrs. Dean (Lila) Carl, Herndon RD; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Nevin (Dorothy) Wolfe, Herndon; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lloyd Reitz, Gratz; and three brothers, Harvey Snyder, Elizabethville; John Snyder, Pillow, and Charles Snyder, Dover.
    A son, Stanley, was killed in Germany in 1944 while serving with the U.S. armed forces during World War II.
    Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at David's Lutheran Church, Hebe. The Rev, Paul Billow, her pastor, will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
    Friends and relatives may call Wednesday evening at the church. Rothermel funeral home Herndon, is in charge of arrangements.

    William O. Bohner, Hebe Merchant Dies
    William O. Bohner. 75, prominent merchant of Heba, died Friday at 2 p. m. at his home after a short illness. He had been a life-long resident of Hebe and was proprietor of the general store in that place.
    He was a charter member of the Hebe lodge of the Patriotic Order, Sons of America, and was a faithful member of St. David's Reformed church, Hebe, of which he served as church treasurer for many years.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Carrie Snyder, and the fol lowing children: Mrs. Nevin Wolfe and Mrs. Dean Carl, Herndon; Mrs. Miles Rickert, Valley View; Mrs. Mark Walkinsham, and Ralph Bohner, Hebe. A son, Stanley, was killed in, action in World War 2. Also surviving are two step-children, Leon Mattern, Pillow; Mrs. Charles Weller, Hebe, and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hass, Harrisburg, and Mrs. Jennie Deppen, Hebe. There are 15 grand children and five great-grandchil dren.
    Services will be held at David's church, Hebe, at 2 p. m. Tuesday, with Rev. Jacob Singer, Reformed pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. Paul Billow, Lutheran pastor. Burial will be in Hebe cemetery. Friends may visit the Rothermel Funeral Home in Herndon Monday evening for viewing. The body may also be viewed in the Hebe church from 12 to 2 p. m Tuesday.
