    MILLERSBURG - Roy E. Ditty, 89, of 150-B Union St., passed away Saturday, January 13th, 2007 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
    Mr. Ditty was born in Rife, PA on May 19, 1917, the son of the late John and Ida (Long) Ditty.
    He retired from Brubaker Tool Co. in Millersburg was a member of the Mandata VFW and the Dalmatia Brothers of the Brush. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II.
    He was the widower of Melva Schaffner Ditty and Beulah Kerstetter Ditty.
    Surviving are his wife Dartha (Weaver) Ditty; two daughters Carol Ney of Halifax and Ruby Scheib of Millersburg; two sons Ronald of Elizabethville and Gary of Halifax; a step-daughter Monda Bush of Loyalton; a sister Betty Johnson of Dunedin, FL; a brother Robert of Elizabethville; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; a great great granddaughter.
    He was preceded in death by a brother John and a sister Sarah Sulpezio and a daughter Marie.
    Services will be held at Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc. in Millersburg on Friday January 19, 2007 with Rev. Elizabeth George officiating. Burial with military honors in the Dalmatia Cemetery. Viewing will be from 7-9 PM on Thursday and from 10-11 AM on Friday at the funeral home.
