    Boneita A. Miller, 84, of Gratz, passed away on February 7, 2023, at Northern Dauphin Nursing & Rehab Center, Millersburg. She was born in Malta on November 17, 1938, a daughter of the late Helen and Charles Long. Boneita retired form the Postal Service in 1992 as the Gratz Postmaster.
    She was a member of St Peter's UCC, Lykens Township, former organist of Peace UCC and Simeon United Lutheran Church. She was a member of the Senior Choir and former Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Willing Workers and on the formation committee of the Gratz Area Ambulance Club and served as secretary for several years, a member of the Gratz VFW Auxiliary, Gratz Fire Co. and Gratz Historical Society. Boneita also belonged to National Postmasters League and a librarian for the Back on Track Organization for gastrointestinal digestive problems in Hershey. She enjoyed quilting, reading, music and visiting shut-in's.
    Boneita is survived by her daughter, Robin M. (Kenny) Dunn of Gratz; Three Brothers, Donald P. Long of Dalmatia, Rex E. Long of Dalmatia, Jesse M. Long of Lewisberry; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Miller, daughter, Tracy Ann Straub, brothers, William and Rolan Long, and a sister, Romaine E Long.
    A viewing will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Saint Peter's Church, Lykens. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Saint Peter's Cemetery, Lykens Township.
    In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17 Chicago, IL 60601.2
