    JEAN RENEE (NEE SCHEIB) 88, of West Chester, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Russell R. Romberger Sr. They celebrated 70 years of marriage on June 30, 2021. Their love and devotion to each other was a privilege to witness. Jean was the loving mother of one son Russell Jr. (Carrie) and the grandmother of two, Ryan and Jake. She is also survived by her nephew Thomas Spirko (Barbara) and their children. Jean was the dear sister of Tillie, Vernon and Wayne. She was an amazing baker, incredible cook and host to numerous family parties, and Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Jean had a way of making everyone she met feel welcome. She loved unconditionally and truly made their home a wonderful and happy place to be. Relatives and friends are invited to her celebration of life on Friday, July 23 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church, 89 Line Road, Malvern, PA 19355, friends may visit from 11:00 A.M. A luncheon will immediately follow the service in the church hall. Interment will be private.     She was a member of the St. Ignatius Loyal Parish, Sinking Spring, was an avid reader, and enjoyed playing Bingo.
    She is survived by a daughter, Debra, wife of Dale Reigel of Richland; a son, Steven Kanaval of Robesonia; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Marion Santak of Wilmington, Delaware; a brother, Russell Romberger of West Chester; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters, Mae Gerhart and AlmaJean Spirko, and brothers, John, Roy, and Earl Romberger.
