GEORGE T. FRANKENSTEIN
The funeral of [George] Thomas Frankenstein, 63 of Joliett, native of Pottsville, and president of Tremont Twp. school board, who died at his home Sunday evening at 9:45 o'clock will be held from his late home Thursday morning. Mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, Tremont and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
He was a son of the late Joseph and Ellen Dayne Frankenstein and was a former tax collector in Norwegian Twp. He was a retired mine foreman of the P. & R. C. & I Company. He was a member ol Immaculate Conception Church Tremont.
Surviving are his wife, the former Marie Grandy, one son Theodore, Orwin; five daughters, Viola and Olive, at home; Mrs. Rita Leahy, Philadelphia; Mrs. Claire Portaro, Clarksboro, West Virginia and Mrs. Loretta Martin, Mechanicsburg; 11 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Lawrence Brennan, R. D. Pottsville and three brothers, Paul, Warren, Ohio and Jerome and Joseph, Pottsville. Dreisigacker Funeral Home has charge.
