     Jasper E. Maurer was born on 18 November 1905, Juniata County, PA.3 He married Ada S. Wolf. Jasper E. Maurer died on 29 March 1985, Ashland State General Hospital, Butler Township, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 79.3

Jasper E. Maurer
MOUNT CARMEL -- Jasper "Jack" E. Maurer, 79, of 216 W. Fifth St., formerly of Herndon, died Friday evening in Ashland State General Hospital.
Born in Juniata County, Nov. 18, 1905, he was a son of the late Jacob and Jenny Wiest Maurer.
He was employed as a breaker foreman for Pennsylvania Reading Coal and Iron Co.
He first married the former Ada Wolfe, who died in 1936, and then married the former Delia Adams, who died in 1966.
Mr. Maurer was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Mount Carmel, and Herndon POS of A.
He is survived by six sons, John of Harrisburg, Ronad of Ashland, Harry of Middletown, William of Williamsburg, Va., Clifford of Wescosville and Larry of Claymont, Del; four daughters, Leona Hull of Xenia, Ohio, Shirley Zimmerman of Catawissa RD, Elaine Young of Towanda and Beverly Lerch of Wind Gap; 29 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Jenny Troxell of Rome, N.Y., Florence Boyer of Coronado, Calif., Alverda Paul of Lykens RD, Alberta Yerger of Middleburg RD and Jaffela Jones of Green Cove Springs, Calif; and two brothers, Clarence of Coatesville and Max of Sunbury.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the Willard Rothermel Funeral Home, Mount Carmel, by the Rev. Walter Keim. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call in the funeral home from 7 to 9 this evening.

     Her married name was Maurer.1 Ada S. Wolf was born in 1904.3 She married Jasper E. Maurer. Ada S. Wolf died in 1936.4 She died on 7 October 1936, Mount Carmel, Northumberland County, PA.5,6

Woman Dies Exactly 2 Years After Mother
MT. CARMEL, Oct. 9. -- A strange coincidence was noted in the death of Mrs. Jasper Maurer, 32, at her home here exactly two years after her mother, Mrs. Lila Fetterolf Wolf, died. Mrs. Maurer parsed away on the night of October 7 at five minutes to twelve. Her mother died at five minutes to twelve on October 7, 1934.
Mrs. Maurier died of a heart attack. Some time ago she had pneumonia, but had recovered. She is survived by her husband and four sons: Jackie, Ronald, Harry, and William; her father, Benjamin F. Wolfe; three brothers and a sister, Charles, Harry and Benjamin Wolte and Ida, wife of Joseph Horan, this city. The Rev. Mr. Allison will officiate at funeral services at the residence at 2 p. m. tomorrow. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
