Elizabethville - Diane M. Dressler, 66, formerly of Klingerstown, passed away Tuesday, March 1 at UPMC Osteopathic Hospital with her loving family by her side.
She was born May 20, 1955 in Klingerstown, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Violet (Clark) Maurer.
She was previously employed by Michael Foods Inc in Klingerstown for 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, and watching game shows, the Food Network and listening to country music. She cherished the social time spent with her friends at Hollywood Courts, where she resided.
She was a member of the American Legion Post 404 in Elizabethville.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, and her mother and father.
She is survived by two daughters Kristal A. Dressler and companion Eric Troutman, Gratz, Shana M. Erdley and husband Mike Erdley, Herndon, 5 grandchildren Bailey, Tyler, Wyatt, Waylon and Willow. She is also survived by siblings Ronald Maurer and wife Phyllis, Halifax, Sharon Guard and husband Stephen, Halifax, Rick Maurer and wife Colleen, Harrisburg, Gina Martin and husband Jay, Millersburg, and nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Home, Ltd., Elizabethville on Monday, March 7, 2022 from 10-11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Salem Church of Rough & Ready, Klingerstown.

PILLOW -- Sharon L. Maurer, 47, of Pillow died at 10:04 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, 1995, at Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg. She had been in ill health since July 1993.
Born Dec. 17, 1947, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of Mary (Kaster) Holloway, Williamstown, and the late John Holloway. She was married to Ronald L. Maurer on April 23, 1977.
She attended Williams Valley High School.
Mrs. Maurer had been employed by Johnson-Bailie Shoe Co., Millersburg.
She was a Protestant.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Heidi Deiter of Lykens RD1 and Holly Maurer, at home; one son, Jonathan, at home; one grandson; one sister, Nancy Laudenslager of Williamstown; and one brother, John Holloway of Orwin.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Salem United Church of Christ, Klingerstown RD1, by the Rev. Mark Rothermel of Millersburg RD1. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Klingertown RD1.
Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RD1, and from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
