     Marlin E. Frye was born on 14 May 1929, Orwin, Schuylkill County, PA.2,3 He was the son of Henry David Fry and Erma Mae Schwalm.1 Marlin E. Frye died on 18 February 2022, at age 92.3

Marlin E. Frye, 92, of Palmyra, passed away Friday, Feb. 18, 2022.
Born May 14, 1929, in Orwin, he was a son of the late Henry and Erma Mae (Schwalm) Fry and also preceded in death by sisters, Anna Mae Gongloff and Shirley Hubert, and brother, LeRoy Schwalm.
Retired after 40 years as an equipment operator from IUOE Local 542, he was a Korean War Army veteran.
He took great pride in having an immaculate lawn and automobiles, trained show horses in his younger years and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of almost 65 years, Rose M. (Carl) Frye; children, David Frye (Kathy), Betty McCloskey (David) and Kimberly Gillespie (Thomas), all of Palmyra; siblings, Doris Frankenstein, Marlene Jenkins and Edward Fry; grandchildren, Christopher Frye (Allison), Bradley Frye (Susan), Rebecca McCloskey, Casey McCloskey, Josh Lightner (Shelby) and Gunther Gillespie; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Briella, Frank and Victoria.
A private graveside service, with military honors, will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.      Anna Mae Fry is also referred to as Anna Mae Fry in some sources.2 She was born on 27 January 1931, Orwin, Schuylkill County, PA.3,2,4 She was the daughter of Henry David Fry and Erma Mae Schwalm.1 As of circa 1950,her married name was Gongloff.1,2 Anna Mae Fry married Mark H. Gongloff, son of William Gongloff and Beulah Bohr, circa 1950.1,2 Anna Mae Fry lived in Orwin, PA.3 She died on 25 January 1999, At home, 345 Dietrich Ave., Orwin, PA, at age 67.2 She was buried on 29 November 1999, at St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Orwin, PA.2

Born in Orwin, Jan. 27, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Henry and E. Mae Schwalm Fry.
She was retired from the garment industry.
She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin, and International Ladies Garment Workers Union.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Hubert.
Surviving are her husband, Mark H., to whom she was married 49 years; two sons, Dale T., RD2 Annville, and Brian L., Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Mariene Jenkins, Williamstown, and Doris Frankenstine, Joliett; two brothers, Edward Fry, Jonestown, and Marlin Fry, Palmyra; a half-brother, Leroy Schwalm, Mechanicsburg; four grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes Inc., Tower City. The Rev. Edward Gobrecht will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.

She was born in Orwin, a daughter of Henry Fry, and the late Mae Schwalm Fry.
She was a garment industry seamstress. She was a member of American Legion Post 585 Auxiliary. Duryea.
Surviving, in addition to her father, of Orwin, are her husband. Robert Sr; a daughter, Bobbie Kay Schwalm, Orwin; four sons, Thomas, with the Army in Germany. Gongloff married Anna Mae Fry, daughter of Henry David Fry and Erma Mae Schwalm, circa 1950.1,3 Mark H. Gongloff died on 18 January 2004, St. Joseph's Hospital, Reading, Berks County, PA, at age 77.2

Born in Orwin, Aug. 16, 1926, he was a son of the late William and Beulah Bohr Gongloff.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He retired from the building maintenance department at Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, and was a retired coal miner. He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin.
His wife of 49 years, the former Anna Mae Fry, died Nov. 25,1999.
Surviving are two sons, Dale T., RD Annville, and Brian L., Mechanicsburg; a brother, William, Williamstown; two sisters, Mae Witmer, Tower City, and Grace Zerby, Williamstown; four grandchildren.

Born in Lackawanna County, July 29, 1933, he was a son of the late Ernest and Margaret Hubert.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Capital Rent-A-Tux, Harrisburg, and was a retired self-employed plumber in Tower City and Duryea.
He was of the Catholic faith, and a member of the Williamstown American Legion, Muir Fire Company and Williamstown Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Shirley E. Fry, on June 6, 1989.
Surviving are a daughter, Bobby Kay Schwalm, Orwin; four sons, Thomas E., Massachusetts, Ernest H., Duryea, and Robert Jr. and Peter J., both of Tower City; a brother, Edward, Honesdale; two sisters, Margarete Nelson. Tyler Hill, and Patricia Ward, New York; 11 grandchildren.
