Edward J. "Ted" Shelters, 72, of Joliett, passed away Thursday at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Joliett, May 24, 1939, he was a son of the late Edward and Mae Doran Shelters.
Edward was a truck driver for Pennfield Poultry Fredericksburg.
He loved all sports, especially baseball and the Phillies.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Shelters and Dorothy Donmoyer.
Surviving is his wife of 23 years, Sandra Donmoyer Shelters.
All services will be held at the convenience of the family The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory be made to H.L. Snyder Funeral Home Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963. H.L Snyder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
