    James David Hain, 75, of Stonington, passed away Monday morning, Oct. 19, 2020, at Evangelical Community Hospital.
    He was born March 6, 1945, in Bellefonte, a son of the late Rev. R. Marlin and Leona (Woland) Hain. On Aug. 13, 1966, he married the former Maxine Brosious who preceded him in death in 2009.
    David was a 1963 graduate of Western Area Joint High School in Mifflinburg. He was formerly employed by the Selinsgrove School District as a general handyman.
    Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Dynelle (Hain) and Daryl Zehring; a son, Keith David Hain; grandchildren, Darrin Zehring, Corporal Dalton Zehring, USMC, and Grayson Hain. Also surviving are his sisters, MaryAnna (Dave) Brown, Rachel (John) Goss, and Dorcas (Terry) Bender; and many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his loving brother and sister-in-law, Philip and Arlene Hain.
    David was a member of the Stonington Wesleyan Church and had a very generous and giving nature. Regardless of the circumstances he was facing, David was always able to bring a smile to each individual he encountered. There are no good byes, just "Until We Meet Again".
    A viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, at the Jerre Wirt Blank Funeral Home, 395 State St., Sunbury, followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. Those attending are asked to wear masks.
    Interment will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

    SUNBURY - Maxine A. Hain, 68, of 2416 Captain Bloom Road, passed away on Friday morning, July 31, 2009, at her residence.
    She was born March 15, 1941, in Gratz, a daughter of the late Harold and Margaret (Schminky) Brosius. On Aug 13, 1966, she married J. David Hain who survives.
    Maxine was a graduate of Selinsgrove High School and Mansfield University.
    She was a retired elementary school teacher in the Shikellamy School District.
    She attended the Stonington Baptist Church.
    Maxine enjoyed playing the piano and organ and was a former member of the Central Pennsylvania Gospel Band.
    In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Dynelle M. and Daryl Zehring of Harrisburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Keith D. and Kimberly Hain of Gastonia, N.C; three grandchildren, Darrin and Dalton Nehring and Grayson Hain.
    Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Stonington Baptist Church, where a funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. J. Douglas Hallman officiating.
    Burial will be in the Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.
