  MOORESTOWN - Ptl. William J. Hogan Sr., 60, of 212 S. Lincoln ave., died Sunday in his home. He had been a member of the police department here 18 years.
  Prior to becoming a policeman, he had been a leather worker in Philadelphia, and for a year during War II, was employed at the York York Shipbuilding Corp., Camden. He was a member of the Congregational Church, Maple Shade, and the Burlington County Policemen's Benevolent Association, Local 37.
  He is survived by his wife, Myrtle M; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Miller, of Maple Shade; a son, William J. Jr., of Medford; four sisters, Mrs. Margaret Sears, of Georgetown, Dela; Miss Cecilia Kirk, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Felix Dunn and Mrs. Frank Bryan, of Baltimore, and six grandchildren.
  Services will be held Wednes- day at 1.30 p m. in the N. Edward Melton Funeral Home, 78 E. Main st, here, where friends! may call Tuesday night. Burial will be in Locustwood Memorial Park, Delaware Township.

  Born in New Delhi, India, she was the daughter of the late James W. and Pauline May Smythe and the wife of the late William Joseph Hogan.
  Ursula was very involved in multiple churches, the Cub Scouts and the Girl Scouts when she was active. She is the author of Punjab Land of Five Rivers. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting and writing poetry.
  Ursula was the loving mother of William M. Hogan (Patricia A.) of Shamong, Timothy A. Hogan of Southampton, Thomas J. Hogan (Janice) of Southampton, Joyce Leonardo (Ralph) of Medford, and Patricia Ann Hogan (Bob Tracey) of Browns Mills. She was the beloved grandmother of Jackie Hogan, Christine Hogan, Bobby Hawthorne (April), Tracey Hawthorne, William Hogan, Kathy Stull, Timothy Hogan Jr., Justine Mackafee (Brandon), Patricia Ameigh, Brian Brilla and the late Daniel James Hogan. She is survived by many great grandchildren.
  Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, at the Bradley & Stow Funeral Home, 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd., Medford. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at the Jr. Mechanics Cemetery, Tabernacle.
  In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests that donations be made to the Samaritan Hospice, 3 Eves Dr., Suite 300, Marlton, NJ 08053.
