    Paul R Klinger, age 76, of 1150 W Main Street, Valley View, passed away Friday, December 25, 2009 at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.
    He was born on Tuesday, March 7, 1933 in Barry Twp, a son of the late Harry F Klinger and the late Beulah (Hepler) Klinger.
    He had worked for the former Muskin Shoe Co, Millersburg, the former Newport Homes, Pine Grove, the former Imperial Homes, Hegins; and had retired as a custodian for the Tri-Valley School District.
    He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors.
    He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
    He was also a former member of the Valley View Fire Company.
    He was preceded in death by a sister Betty Lucas, an infant sister, and a brother Charles Klinger.
    He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. (Klouser) Klinger, to whom he was married for 51 years.
    He is also survived by four daughters, Linda S Olano and her husband, Marcelo of Valley View, Peggy L Wagner and her husband, Rev. David of North Manchester, IN, Wanda A Klinger of Valley View, and Lisa A Zartman and her husband, Charles of Valley View; two grandsons, Benjamin Wagner and Justin Olano; five granddaughters, Lindsay Olano, Gina Lucas, Charissa Zon, Patricia Zartman, and Ariel Wagner; three great-granddaughters, Kylie Lucas, Audianna Zon, and Iliana Dorvilus; two great-grandsons, Jaelin Olano and Lincoln Lucas; a sister, Mabel Wetzel of Wiconisco; and a brother, Norman Klinger of Pitman.
    Funeral services were held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Wagner officiating.
    A viewing was held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.
    Burial was made in St. Andrew's Cemetery, Valley View.
