He was born in Danville on September 2, 1955, a son of the late Irene Laudenslager Hartman and Richard Hartman.
Richard is survived by his father Richard Hartman, Sr; two brothers, Rodney and Eddie Hartman; a sister, Brenda Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene I. Hartman and a sister, Shelly Hartman.
Services were held Saturday, Nov. 7 at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, with the Rev. Martine Joseph officiating. Interment was in the Gratz Union Cemetery, Gratz.
James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow was in charge of the arrangements.
