    HALIFAX- Mark A. Byerly, age 87, of Enders Road, passed away Monday, December 18th, 2017 at his residence.
    He was born February 10, 1930 in Loyalton, son of the late Arthur Ira and Mabel Pauline (Hoffman) Byerly.
    He was a retired yard department supervisor for Bethlehem Steel, Steelton. He was a full time farmer and he and his late wife ran Gra-Mar Farms. Many will remember him being the "Corn Man".
    He was a former township supervisor and road master for Jackson Twp., assistant scout master for Fisherville Troop 156. (1960-1966), and member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Fort Halifax Chapter.
    He was an honorary member of the Fisherville Fire Co.
    He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Fisherville.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Grace Rebecca (Hoffman) Byerly, sister, Anna Troutman, infant grandson Michael Allen Byerly and grandson, Christopher Hawk.
    Survivors include sons James husband of Mun-Hui, and Randolph husband of Emma; daughters, Anne Hawk wife of the late Gary, Kathy Reisch wife of David, and Joanne Staley wife of Dean; Grandchildren, David Byerly, Erique Klinger, Matthew Byerly, Carrie Hawk, Johnathan Hawk, Raquel Smith, Whittni Reisch, Melissa Staley, Joshua Staley, and Sarah Staley; Great-Grandchildren, Zoe and Xavier Byerly, Grace, Grant, Owen, and Landon Klinger, Hope, Faith, and Mark Byerly, Christopher G. Hawk, Isabelle Reichert,Gary Reichert Cheyenne, Noah, and Mackenzie Smith; Sisters, Donna Zuber and Patricia Herb; Brothers, Leo Hirsch and Ronald Hirsch.
    There will be a viewing at his church on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 10-11 AM. Services to start at 11:00 am with burial to follow at Enders Cemetery, Halifax.
