    SHAMOKIN -- Meda G. Snyder, 86, of 802 W. State St. died at 3:22 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 1992, at Sun: bury Community Hospital, where she had been hospitalized for the past five weeks.
    Born Dec. 8, 1905, in Herndon RD, Jackson Township, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Ver-dilla (Heititzelman) Bohner. In 1930, she married Wilson Smder in Herndon.
    She had been a resident of Shamokin since December 1991 and formerly lived in the Dalmatia RD and Rebuck area most of her life.
    She was educated in the Dry Valley schools, Herndon RD.
    She was a charter member of the Wayside Mission Church, Dornsife RD.
    In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Barbara Carl of Herndon RD; a son, Marvin of Shamokin; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Fred Bohner of Millersburg; and a sister, Clara Reed of Hemdon.
    She was preceded in death by seven sisters.
    The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at Wayside Mission Church, Dornsife RD, by the Rev. Paul Avery. Burial will be in Wayside Mission Church Cemetery.
    Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Robert Foust Funeral Heme, 841 W. Shamokin St, Trevorton, and from noon until the time of the service Monday at the church.
