    PITMAN -- Robert E. Morgan, 71, of Pitman RD1 died at 10:22 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, 1993, at Pottsville Hospital. He had been in ill health for a month.
    Born Nov. 13, 1921, in Pitman RD1, he was a son of the late Samuel and Iva (Zimmerman) Morgan. In 1950, he was married to the former Freida E. Willier.
    Mr. Morgah was educated in the Pitman schools.
    He was a farmer.
    He was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Congregational Church, Mahantongo Fire Company and Woodmen of the World Lodge Camp No. 433. all of Pitman, and the Pennsylvania Farmers Association.
    In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Patti Lohr of Hegins RD1; one granddaughter; two sisters, Betty Schreffler of Pitman and Jean Wehry of Klingerstown RD1; and several nieces and nephews.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Evangelical Congregational Church, Pitman RD1, by the Rev. Lance Mills. Burial will be in St. Paul's Ev'angelical Congregational Cemetery, Pitman RD1.
    Visitors maycall from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church.
    Funeral arrangements were made by the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown RD1.
