    L. Russell Rebuck
    SHAMOKIN - L. Russell Rebuck, 70, of Shamokin RD1, Hunters Station, died Friday morning in the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he was admitted Thursday morning.
    He had been in ill health and hospitalized on several occasions.
    He retired in 1973 as a carpenter. He had worked for area contractors and for the Reading Railroad.
    Mr. Rebuck was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Sunday school, Hunter's Station.
    Born in New Columbia, Sept. 27, 1910, he was a son of the late John D. and Mary Ann Raker Rebuck. He was a resident of Hunter's Station most of his life.
    His wife, the former Alma M. Long, died in 1979.
    He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William Lenker of Shamokin RD1 and Mrs. Roy Paul of Klingerstown RD1; a brother, Raymond R. of Shamokin RD1; and a granddaughter.
    A son, Mark, died in 1940.
    The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunter's Station, by the Rev. Glen Keidel Jr. Burial will be in Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Hunter's Station.
    Friends may call Monday evening in the Robert Foust Funeral Home, Trevorton, and at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.2

    SHAMOKIN - Mrs. Alma M.. Rebuck, 69. of Shamokin RD1, Hunters Station, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in her home.
    Mrs. Rebuck lived in the Hunters Station area most of her life.
    She was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Hunters Station, and the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
    Born in Jackson Township, April 7, 1910, she was a daughter of the late Alvin C. and Flossie Heim Long. In 1936. she married L. Russell Rebuck, who survives.
    Surviving in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. William Lenker of Shamokin RDI, and Mrs. Roy Paul of Klingerstown RDI; a granddaughter; three brothers, Melvin Long of Northumberland, Ray Long of Herndon RD and Emory Long of Trevorton; two sisters, Mrs. Lester Howerter and Mrs. Robert Derk, both of Hunters Station.
    A son Mark, died in 1940.
    The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Hunters Station, by the Rev. Glen B. Keidel Jr. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
    Friends may call in the church Friday evening from 7 to 9. and Saturday until the time of the service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Robert Foust Funeral Home. Trevorton.2
