    Gloria Crabb, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at her home.
    She was born in Lykens Township, a daughter of the late Harry and Esther (Maurer) Scheib, of Gratz. She was married for 50 years to her loving husband, Lamar Crabb, who survives.
    She was a graduate of Hubley Township High School.
    Gloria retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry as a data analyst supervisor with more than 41 years of service.
    She was a member of Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz.
    Gloria loved to go on vacations.
    In addition to her husband, she is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Diana Scheib, of Little River, S.C; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonita and Homer Campbell, of Berrysburg, and Carol and Leonard Connor, of Salford; three loving nephews, Bryan Campbell, of Berrysburg, Michael Campbell, of Mechanicsburg, and Jon Campbell, of Berrysburg; a loving niece, Nicole Lobley, of Harleysville; and many more loving nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Scheib, of Dornsife.
    A visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, followed by the funeral at 2 with the Rev. Barry Ridge officiating.
    Burial will be in Union Cemetery, Gratz.
    The James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, is in charge of the arrangements.

    Lamar E. Crabb, 97, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on February 8, 2023, at Heritage Mills, Tower City. He was born in Lykens Twp on September 10, 1925, a son of the late Carrie and Harvey Crabb. Lamar was a retired truck driver for Halls Trucking.
    He served in the Army Air Corp from May of 1946 to April of 1947 during World War II. He was a member of Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz, and the VFW in Mechanicsburg.
    Lamar is survived by his son, Eugene Crabb; sister Larue Smeltz; two sister-in-laws, Carol (Lenny) Connor, Bonita Campbell; three nephews, Bryan (Susan) Campbell, Jonathan (Lainey) Campbell, Michael Campbell; two nieces, Nicole, and Patty (Ken) Houck; three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria Crabb in 2010.
    A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Simeon United Lutheran Church, Gratz. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place in the Gratz Union Cemetery.8

    Bonita Marie Campbell, 84, of Berrysburg, passed away on May 25, 2025, at her home. She was born and raised on a farmstead, which has been owned by her family since the time of William Penn, north of Gratz, on December 24, 1940, a daughter of the late Esther (Maurer) Scheib and Harry Scheib Sr.
    Bonnie was farm wife and retired from the Social Security Administration. She was a member of Grace Community Church, Herndon and life-long learner who valued education. She earned her Bachelor's Degree from Bloomsburg University after retirement and went on to work part time as a substitute teacher and EMT.
    Bonita is survived by her three sons: Bryan S. Campbell; Michael A. Campbell; Jonathan A. and wife Lainey M. Campbell; 10 grandchildren, Bethany, Aubrey, Naomi, Emerson, Silas, Tabitha, Jonah, Simon, Gwynaeth and Hadassah Campbell; sister, Carol Connor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer B. Campbell; brothers, Harry Scheib, Jr. Roger Scheib; sister, Gloria Crabb.
    A viewing will be held on June 3, 2025 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow, and on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Grace Community Church. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 11:00 am at Grace Community Church, Herndon. Interment will take place immediately after at Oak Hill Cemetery, Millersburg. A light meal will be served at Grace Community Church following the services.
