    Lester L. "Buddy" Adams, Jr., 67, of Tower City, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at Anne Arundel Hospital, Annapolis, Maryland.
    Born in Lykens, April 16, 1954, a son of the late Lester Sr. "Buddy" and Caroline Weaver Adams. Buddy was a 1972 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He was a United States Navy Veteran.
    Before becoming ill, he was employed as a machinist Alfa-Laval, Lykens.
    Buddy was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton. He was also a member of the NRA and was previously very active with and a former leader of the Tower City Boy Scouts, #115.
    He enjoyed being in the outdoors, whether it be camping, fishing, hunting or boating.
    Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Yvonne Schadle Adams, two sons; Jason Adams (Holly), Tower City and Brent Adams (Jennifer Wirrick), Halifax, one sister; Susan Wharton (John), Delaware, four grandchildren; Peyton, Hadley, Aspen and Boaz Adams; his mother-in-law, Nancy Schadle, Tower City, Sister-in-law, Lori Boyd (Dennis), Lebanon, brother-in-law, Mark Schadle (Penni), Tower City. Several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at 10:30 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc, Tower City. Burial with military honors will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 am at the chapel.
    In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1931 Wiconisco Street, Tower City PA 17980.

    Jennie A. Schadle, 89, of Herndon, passed away on July 28, 2018, at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. She was born in Dalmatia on March 9, 1929, a daughter of the late Mamie and Harry Engle. Jennie was employed at Johnson Baillie Shoe Co.
    She was a member of Zion Stone Valley Church, Dalmatia, married to her husband Ray Schadle for 54 years. Jennie enjoyed being outside with her flowers, baking and her grandchildren.
    Jennie is survived by her husband Ray Schadle, daughter, Lanette Cotner; four grandchildren, Michelle Walker, Michael E. Cotner, Brandon and Trent Roach; nine great-grandchildren, Natasha Schreffler, Jordan & Justin Warer, Michael T., Reagan, Aleah Cotner, Axyl, Gavin, Millie Roach.
    A viewing will be held on August 2, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 11:00 am at the James A. Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. Interment will take place in the Stone Valley Cemetery, Dalmatia.1,8

    Thomas C. Klinger, 73, entered into eternal rest suddenly on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Harrisburg Hospital.
    Thomas was born on May 31, 1941 in Erdman, PA to the late Thomas and Eva Klinger.
    He attended Upper Dauphin High School graduating in 1959. After high school he went to work in the Johnson Baillie Shoe Factory and then on to Tilo Roofing. He worked for himself for a while doing roofing and siding before going back to school at MIT where he learned to be a diesel mechanic. He worked for Trailways for over 12 years before his retirement.
    On July 2, 1962 he married the love of his life, Marian E. (Laudenslager) Klinger. They enjoyed over 50 years together before his passing.
    Thomas will always be remembered as a hard worker who supported his family and put their needs before his own.
    Thomas enjoyed building and remodeling homes in his free time to resell.
    Thomas is preceded in death by his son Lynn Eugene Klinger and his sister Mary Diebler.
    Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Marian E. Klinger, his son Randy Klinger, his daughter Kathryn Koppenheffer & husband Kerry, his 2 brothers: Roy Klinger & wife Peggy and Larry Klinger & wife Lorie; his 2 granddaughters: Jennifer Mock and Mindy Koppenheffer and great granddaughter Jessica Mock.
    Services for Thomas will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at Millers Church at 2pm.

    She was a 1966 graduate of Upper Dauphin High School, Elizabethville.
    She was employed as a beautician at Double Take Hair Salon in Manchester.
    She enjoyed going on long walks and loved animals. She was of the Lutheran faith.
    Surviving are her husband, Karl Deibler of Millersburg; two daughters and one son-in-law, Leslie Klinger of Millersburg and Ann, wife of David Wolf of Lewisberry; three brothers, Thomas Klinger of Halifax, Roy Klinger of Erdman, and Larry Klinger of Spring Glen; and nieces and nephews.
    Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown, with the Rev. Barry Ridge officiating. Burial in the Zion Cemetery at Erdman.
    Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to The Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
