Schmick married Delphin Homer Wiest, son of Homer Wiest and Vesta Rahama Idella Paul.¹ Regina M. Schmick died on 22 January 2001, Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA, at age 72.^3,2,1

Regina M. Wiest, 72, of 323 Redwood St., Harrisburg, died Monday at Harrisburg Hospital.
Born in Lykens, May 18, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Irene Reitenbach Schmick.
She retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue and formerly worked for the Pennsylvania Department of Treasury.
She was a member of the Dauphin County Democratic Committee for more than 40 years, and was a volunteer for years to help the coal miners of the area in receiving Black Lung benefits.
Surviving are her husband, Delphin H; two sons, Ronald A., Harrisburg, and Rodney P., Carsonville; a brother, Leo D. Schmick, Lykens; two sisters, Joanne E. Herb, Lykens, and Patricia M. Yentsch, Richmond, Va; two grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from John R. Schultz Funeral Home, Lykens. The Rev. Francis J. Karwacki will officiate. Interment will be in St. James Cemetery, Carsonville.

     Rodney P. Wiest was born on 18 January 1958, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA.¹ He was the son of Delphin Homer Wiest and Regina M. Schmick.¹ Rodney P. Wiest died on 28 May 2009, Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill, Cumberland County, PA, at age 51.¹
POWELLS VALLEY - Rodney P. Wiest, 51, passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
He was a graduate of Susquehanna Twp. High School, Harrisburg; retired from the Commonwealth of PA, Auditor General's Office as an Investigator for Welfare Fraud; was a member of the Vintage Motor Touring Society; social member of Liberty Hose Company, No. 2, Lykens and enjoyed restoring antique cars and antique John Deere tractors.
Rodney was born January 18, 1958 in Harrisburg, son of Delphin H. Wiest, Powells Valley and the late Regina M. Schmick wiest [sic].
In addition to his father, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer L. Wiest, Williamsport; life partner, Linda Kemrer, Powells Valley; a brother, Ronald A. Wiest, Harrisburg; and a nephew, Jacob A. Wiest.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 2nd, at the John R. Shultz Funeral Home, 406 Market Street, Lykens, with Pastor Daniel Potter officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment in St. James Cemetery, Powells Valley Road, Carsonville.
