Born in Pottsville, Nov. 7, 1941, he was a son of the late Roy and Helen Straub Klinger.
He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard.
He was a self-employed coal miner.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.
Surviving are a sister, Linda Amos, Lewisberry; a brother, Fred Klinger, Tremont.
Services were held Tuesday, March 21 from Minnig-Berger Funeral Home, Tremont. The Rev. Donald Schwartz officiated. Interment was in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.⁴

Margaret E. Klinger, 63, of 10 N. Crescent St., Tremont, died unexpectedly this morning at her home.
She was born in Pine Grove, a J daughter of the late William and Charity Roth Hummel.
She was a retired sewing machine operator and was last employed by Morris Manufacturing Co., Tremont. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont.
Surviving are her husband, Earl; a son, John, Pine Grove; four sisters, Anna Kramer, Ruth, wife of George Rumpf , and Jean Bligan, all of Tremont, and Pauline, wife of Charles Achenbach, Allentown; two brothers. Miles Hummel, Reinerton, and Paul Hummel, Tremont; two grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday afternoon at W.E. Minnig Funeral Home, Tremont. The Rev. Richard Mowery of St. John's Church will officiate. Interment will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.

Born in Pottsville, June 21, 1943, he was a son of the late Earl S. and Margaret Hummel Klinger. He was a graduate of Tremont High School and Williamsport Technical Institute.
He had been employed at the former Garden State Tannery, Fleetwood.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Lucy Natale Klinger; a daughter, Barbara Klinger, at home; and a son, John W. Jr., San Antonio, Texas.
Services will be private. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont.

Natale died on 21 July 2019, Tremont Helath and Rehabilitation Center, Tremont, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 76.⁴

Lucy M. Klinger, 76 of Tremont, passed away on Sunday, July 21, in the Tremont Health & Rehab. Center.
Born on March 14, 1943, in Pine Grove, she was a daughter of the late Carmine and Alice Monti Natale.
Lucy worked as a Waitress. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Barbara for 53 years and very proud of her son, John's service in the Army. She cared deeply for her family and took pride in providing for others. She touched many lives and will be forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John Klinger, Sr., five sisters, Stiffanie Kutz, Carmela Graeff, Fiora Clark, Frances Schwalm, Barbara Natale, and six brothers, Frank Natale, Robert Natale, James Natale, Domenick Natale, Joseph Natale and Nicholas Natale.
Surviving are her son, John and his wife Jennifer Klinger, daughter, Barbara Klinger, all of Felda, Florida; one sister, Mary Guidas of Pine Grove and one brother, Anthony Natale of Summit Station.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a visitation on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be held in the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont at the convenience of the family.
