Ellen M. Wiest, Market Street, Gratz, died Saturday in Polylclinic Medical Center, Harrisburg.
She was a daughter of the late German and Sally Welcher Daniel.
She was a retired employee of Muskin Shoe Millersburg.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Her husband, Melvin C. Wiest, preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Gerald (Chap) and Kenneth both of Gratz; two daughters, Carol S. Casner, Millersburg, and Charlotte M. Blankenbiller, Gratz; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers, Carl and Homer DanJel, both of Lykens area, and Darvin Daniel, Gratz; a sister, Hannah A. Klinger, Millersburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from Hoover Funeral Home, Millersburg. The Rev. Merlin Sjoberg wil officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Memorial Gardens, Halifax.

Hoffman, daughter of Harvey Clair Hoffman and Mary J. Starr, on 26 August 1940, Zion (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.5,1,6 Thomas Marcus Klinger died on 16 October 1968, Harrisburg Hospital, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA, at age 59.1,7 He was buried on 19 October 1968, at Zion (Klinger's) Church Cemetery, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.8,7

Thomas M. Klinger, 59, of Lykens RD, died Wednesday [October 16, 1968] at Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a member of Klinger's Lutheran Church, Erdman.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. EVa Hoffman Klinger; three sons, Thomas C. of Halifax, and Roy A. and Larry Lee, both at home; a daughter. Miss Mary Lou Klinger, at home; five brothers, Walter of Riverside, Calif., Daniel of Herndon RD, Ray of Berrysburg, Chas. of Harrisburg and Claude of Saylorsburg; three sisters, Mrs. Katie Renninger of Zerbe, Mrs. Buela Coleman of Gratz and Mrs. Frances Paul of Sacramento RD: and four grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday at the Marlin Reed Funeral Home in Pillow. The Rev. Robert Logan officiated. Interment was in Klinger's Church Cemetery, Erdman.7

     Rufus Leon Wiest was born on 10 June 1888, Hubley Township, Schuylkill County, PA.1,2 He married Katie Alice Schmeltz on 24 January 1907, Hegins, Schuylkill County, PA.2 At the time of the 1920 Census, Rufus, his wife "Kittie," and his family were living in Lykens Township, Dauphin County, where he was a farmer.3 Rufus and Katie lived on a farm north of Gratz. It was just west of Katie's parent's farm, while John Wiest lived on a farm just east of Katie's parents.2 Rufus Leon Wiest died on 14 October 1972, Pottsville Hospital, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 84.1,4,2

Rufus Leon Wiest, 84, of Gratz died Saturday afternoon in Pottsville Hospital where he was admitted that morning as a medical patient.
He was born June 10, 1888 in Hubley Township, a son of the late John and Amelia (Daniels) Wiest. His wife, the former Katie Smeltz, died in 1934.
Surviving are these children, Elvin of .Erie; Martha, wife of George Miller, Hockessin, Del; Blair of Gratz; Paul, Sacramento; Leroy, Harrisburg; Guy of Camp Hill; Amelia, wife of Harry B. Troutman, Klingerstown; Edna, wife of Cloyd Mattern Jr. of Hegins RDl; 21 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Minnie Artz, Spring Glen; Mrs. Lloyd Bowman, Valley View; Mrs. Guy Geist, Hegins; a brother, Allen Wiest, Star Route, Spring Glen.
Services will be held Wednesday morning from the Buffington Funeral Home, Valley View. Rev. Robert Johnson, Klingerstown, officiating. Interment in Zion's Cemetery at Erdman.
