Her married name was Klinger.1 Eva M. Hoffman was born on 15 June 1920, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.1 She was the daughter of Harvey Clair Hoffman and Mary J. Starr.1 Eva M. Hoffman married Thomas Marcus Klinger on 26 August 1940, Zion (Klinger's) Church, Erdman, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.2,1,3 Eva M. Hoffman died on 1 October 2006, at home, Lykens, Dauphin County, PA, at age 86.1

Eva M. Klinger, 86, of 2395 Luxemberg Road, Lykens, died Sunday at home. She had been in ill health for the past four weeks.
Born in Klingerstown, June 15, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Clair and Mary Starr Hoffman.
She was educated in Klingerstown area schools.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her children.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Erdman, and helped with the church picnics in the grove at the pie and cake stand.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Klinger, on Oct. 16, 1968; and a brother, Jacob Hoffman, on Dec. 8, 1970.
Surviving are three sons, Thomas Klinger and his wife, Marian, Halifax, Roy Klinger and his wife, Peggy, Erdman, and Larry Klinger and his wife, Lori, Spring Glen; a daughter, Mary Deibler, York; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Edith Coop-er, Harrisburg, Ethel Lenig, Loyalton, and Elsie Zimmerman, Ashland; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Zion Lutheran Church, Erdman, with the Rev. Jan Mills officiating.
A viewing will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the church. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Erdman. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Zion Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 71, Klingerstown, PA 17941 or Odyssey Health Care, 4660 Trindle Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
