  Byron R. Smeltz
  Byron R. Smeltz, 22, of 593 East Main St., New Holland, and formerly of Elizabethtown died early Sunday morning at Lancaster General Hospital, the result of a three-car accident.
  Surviving are his parents, Robert B. and Elva A. Scheib Smeltz, of New Holland, brothers and sisters, Sheila and David M., at home, Henry, of West Grove R.D. 1, Sharon, wife of Glenn Longenecker, of Elizabethtown R.D. 1, and Marilyn, wife of Hal Beasly, of Elizabethtown.
  Also surviving is a grandmother, Mae Scheib of Valley View.
  He was on inactive duty with the U.S. Marine Corps.
  Funeral services were held from the Zeltenreichs United Church of Christ, New Holland R.D. 3, on Wednesday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Jay Fulmer officiated. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
  Contributions may be made in his memory to the Teen Challenge, 1811 Willow Street Pike, Lancaster. Funeral arrangements were made by the Edgar O. Beck Funeral Home, 315 East Main St., New Holland.
