    Felix H. Kehler, 82, of 1547 Creek Road, Pitman, died Friday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where he had been a patient for one day.
    Born in Pitman, Aug. 10, 1926, he was a son of the late Peter H. and Olive Wetzel Kehler. On March 24, 1945, he married the former Betty J. Heim, who preceded him in death on Nov. 14, 1990.
    He was educated in Hegins Township High School.
    He had been a farmer and logger in Pitman, had worked at the Milton Hershey farm units, had been a sales representative for Greider Hatchery of Mount Joy, and was last employed as a bricklayer and electrician for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp., retiring in 1992.
    He loved his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his friends, and he enjoyed golfing and traveling.
    He was a member of Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Pitman, where he served as a steward on the official board. He had also served as a Sunday school teacher and officer. He was a past president of the Mahantongo Valley Senior Citizens and was a member of the Klingerstown and Mahantongo fire companies, the Woodmen of the World Lodge, Camp No. 433, Pitman, and the U.S. Steelworkers Union.
    He had been a former volunteer driver for the Mahantongo Valley Ambulance Association, was a former tax preparer, a former secretary for Eldred Township and a former justice of the peace for Eldred Township for many years.
    Surviving are three children and their partners, David and his wife, Sandra Kehler, Diane Sims and her fiance, Steve Bokunewicz, all of Pitman, and Susan and her husband, Joseph Tallman, Tower City; four grandchildren, Michael Schwalm, Alissa Snyder, Sara Kehler and Megan Sims; six great-grandchildren, Deven, Logan and Brielle Schwalm, Alexandra and Ava Snyder and Aiden Sims; a friend, Lorraine Fetterolf, Klingerstown; two sisters, Mary Jane Willier, Pitman, and Minnie Mae "Peggy" Kehler, Myerstown; three brothers, Peter Kehler, Harrisburg, Charles Kehler, Valley View, and Gene Kehler, Klingerstown; nieces and nephews.
    A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday in Zion Evangelical Congregational Church, Pitman, where the funeral will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Nahodil officiating. Interment will be in Zion EC Cemetery, Pitman. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Zion EC Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 53, Pitman, PA 17964. Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, 1133 Ridge Road, Klingerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
