    Regina Victoria (Barr) Wiest, following a series of strokes, died on October 17, 1933. in San Francisco, CA. She was born at Barr's Corners, Rockland Twp., Venango Co., PA, on August 5, 1860, the daughter of Captain J. P. Barr and Anna (nee Mackey) Barr.
    A son and daughter survive her: Mrs. Cliff (Anna Beatrice) Work of San Francisco and Bryant Wiest of Oakland, CA, and four grandchildren. Surviving also is a brother, Frank Barr of Mansfield, OH, and two sisters, Mrs. William Vann Ausdall of Oil City, PA, and Mrs. Bert Grove of Hastings, NE.
    Capt. Barr's family lived for many years in Franklin and were well known throughout this section.
    Mrs. Wiest had made her home in California for the past ten years and had been planning to revisit her old home in the spring. The funeral services were held in San Francisco, with interment to be made in Schuylkill County, PA.
