    Theodore W Shadle Jr., 70, of 509 Pine Drive, Sacramento, passed away Tuesday in Lykens Township.
    Born in Ashland, May 26, 1937, he was a son of the late Theodore W. Shadle Sr. and the late Margaret Welnreich Shadle Paul.
    He was a 1955 graduate of the former Heglns Township High School.
    He retired as a foreman for the former Johnson Bailee Shoe Co., Millersburg.
    He was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View.
    He was also a member of the National Rifle Association.
    Surviving are his companion, Sandra L. Bedleyoung, Sacramento; four daughters, Cheryl A. Fetterolf, Hegins, Debora K. Stutzman, Valley View, Roxane L. Artz, Hegins, and Paula R. Schadel, Gratz; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Dennis C, Shadle, Marlboro, Md.
    Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday from Bufflngton-Reed Funeral Home, Valley View, with the Rev. Philip Sabas officiating. The family will receive guests from 9 a.m. Friday until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fountain Community Cemetery, Fountain. Memorial contributions can be made to American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St., Columbus OH 43214 or to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave, Floor 17, Chicago IL 60601-7633.     Thomas J. Maher, 41, of RR1 Hegins, died Thursday at home. Born in Hegins, he was a son of Wilma Maher, Hegins, and the late John Thomas Maher.
    He was an accountant for Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
    He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kayla.
    Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, the former Cheryl Shadle; two daughters, Brooke and Amanda Maher, both of Hegins; two brothers, John D., East Berlin, and Michael, Reading.
    Services will be private. Cremation Society of Pennsylvania, Harrisburg, is in charge of arrangements.
