Marlin Edward Shade was born on 29 January 1924, Spring Glen, Schuylkill County, PA.1 He was the son of Roy C. Schade and Erma Swartzlander. Marlin Edward Shade married Eva Florence Klinger, daughter of Joel Orlando Klinger and Adeline Bruella Wiest.2 Marlin Edward Shade died on 9 April 2000, Sacramento, Schuylkill County, PA, at age 76.1 He was buried at Zion (Klinger's) Lutheran Church Cemetery, Erdman, Dauphin County, PA.1
