     Mark Luther Hoffman was born on 22 September 1951 in Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.2,1 He died on 9 May 2005, Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA, at age 53.2

Mark L. Hoffman, 53, of 115 Fearnot Road, Lykens, died Monday at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia.
Born in Klingerstown, Sept. 22, 1951, he was a son of the late William E. and Reba Morgan Hoffman.
He was a carpenter and was employed by Robert Koppenhaver Building and Contracting Co., Spring Glen.
He was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Klingerstown, Valley Lodge 797 F&AM, Valley View, and the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Millerburg Forest 125.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen Hoffman; two brothers, David and Roy.
Surviving are his wife, the former Kathy J. Wiest, Lykens; two sons, Scott, Gratz, and Nicholas, Mechanicsburg; two grandchildren; four sisters, Martha Wiest, RR1 Herndon, and Nancy Rothermel, Anna Wiest and Shirley Straub, all of Klingerstown; a brother, William E. Jr., Klingerstown.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Salem United Church of Christ. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Stephen R. Rothermel Funeral Home, Klingerstown, and from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday in the church. Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Klingerstown.

     Marlin E. Wiest was born on 10 July 1936, Lykens Township, Dauphin County, PA.1,2 He was the son of Blair Albert Wiest and Eva Senora Schoffstall. Some sources record that Marlin E. Wiest was born on 10 July 1937, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, PA.3 He died on 1 August 2015, Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Dauphin County, PA, at age 79.3

Marlin E. Wiest , 78 , of Erdman Road, Lykens, died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at the Hershey Medical Center.
He was born July 10, 1937 in Harrisburg, a son of the late Blair and Eva (Schoffstall) Wiest.
He was an independent trucker and hauled for Eazor Express in Pittsburgh.
He was member of the Teamsters Union, Pittsburgh. He enjoyed hunting, rollerskating, square dancing and was an avid card player. He enjoyed going on trips to Virginia to visit relatives. He loved being with his family.
Survivors include his wife of over 61 years, Marcia M. (Morris) Wiest, at home; daughter, Kathy Hoffman, Lykens Twp; son, Marlin Wiest Jr. "Butch", (Barb Schreffler) Lykens, Twp; son, Bradley Wiest, (Vicki) Leck Kill; daughter, Sheila Mitchell, (Paul) Halifax; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
There will be a memorial at the convenience of the family.
