PUNTA GORDA, FL - Anthony D. Buffington, 23, of Lafayette Street, formerly of Elizabethville, passed away November 16th, 2013, the result of an auto accident in Charlotte County, Punta Gorda.
He was born October 6, 1990 in Harrisburg, son of Ronald E. "Buff" Buffington, Jr. and the late Samantha (Zerance) Buffington.
He had attended the Northern Dauphin Christian Academy and was a graduate of the Upper Dauphin Class of 2010.
He was a former member of David's Church, Millersburg.
He had worked for Dunkin Donuts in Punta Gorda and formerly worked at Koppy's on the Square and Walmart both in Elizabethville. He also had worked for Dayton Parts in Harrisburg.
Survivors include his father, Ronald E. "Buff" Buffington Jr. and his fiance Dona Reitenbach. His Wife, Camaria P. Buffington, Abilene, TX; Son, Kolbey Allen Buffington, Wiconisco; Paternal Grandmother, Jacqueline Fitting, Harrisburg. Mother-in-Law, Mary Richardson, Elizabethville; Sister-in-law, Miranda Kube, Ohio. 4 Brother-in-Laws, Kevin Oberhausen, Elizabethville, Thomas Oberhausen, Ohio, Carroll Richardson, Elizabethville, and Cameron Richardson, Elizabethville; Step-Brothers, Bryan Wiest, Elizabethville, Wesley Eshleman, Millersburg and Kyle Dohoney, West Chester; Step-Sister, Shandra Dohoney, Baltimore.
There will be a visitation at Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 10-11 am with services at 11. The Rev. Nathan Corl Minnich and Rev. Gary Becker will officiate. Burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Elizabethville.
