Her married name was Readinger.1 Ruth D. Bowman was born on 6 February 1945, Tower City, Schuylkill County, PA.1 She was the daughter of Bernard Bowman and Arlene (?)1 Ruth D. Bowman married Ronald Jay Readinger, son of John Ignatius Readinger and Jennie Elizabeth Paul.1 Ruth D. Bowman died on 12 October 2009, Hershey Medical Center, Derry Township, Dauphin County, PA, at age 64.1

Ruth D. Readinger, 64, formerly of Tower City, passed away Monday at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Tower City, February 6, 1945 a daughter of the late Bernard and Arlene Bowman.
She was a former member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Tower City.
In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by her husband Ronald J. "Skip" Readinger, 1983.
Surviving are her children, Stacy J. Miller, Palmyra and Robert G. Readinger, Lebanon. Three sisters, Beverly Bowman, Wyomissing; Peggy Schaeffer and Sherry Challenger both of Tower City; Two brothers, Bernard Bowman II, Pottsville and Darin Bowman, Orwin. 3 grand-children, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October, 16th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10-11 am at the chapel. To sign the guest book visit dimonfuneralhome.com
