Landis F. Witmer
BERRYSBURG -- Landis F. Witmer, 93, of Susquehanna Lutheran Village, Millersburg, formerly of Berrysburg, died Monday in Harrisburg Hospital.
He was a retired farmer; a member of Stone Valley United Church of Christ, Dalmatia, and Reigle's Bible Fellowship, Millersburg RD 2; and enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
He was the widower of Sarah Farnsworth Witmer. Surviving are two sons, Sherwood A. and Stewart A. both of Berrysburg; four daughters, Pauline Gutshall of Harrisburg, Lucille Noecker of Northumberland, Violet Lewis of Cross Forks and Ruth Minnich of Elizabethville; 28 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Hoover Funeral Home, Millersburg. Burial will be in Stone Valley Cemetery, Dalmatia.
Memorial contributions may be made to Stone Valley Church, Hickory Corners, Dalmatia 17017, or Reigle's Bible Fellowship Church, RD 2, Route 25, Millersburg 17061.
