Harvey A. Deppen, 90, formerly of Pillow, died Wednesday in Doctor's Nursing Home, Selinsgrove.
He was a former member of Pillow council. Mr. Deppen was a member of Zion Lutheran. Church, Pillow Fire Company, and a former member of Pillow Band.
Surviving are his wife, the former Blanch M. Hepner; five sons, Forrest H. and Charles H., both of Pillow, Elwood S., Millersburg area, William G., Selinsgrove, and James H.A., Halifax; a daughter, Beatrice Shade, Elizabethville area; two brothers, William, Kittanning, and Floyd, Hershey; three sisters, Anna Dell, Palmyra area, and Blanch Yeich and Mary Hess, both of Hershey; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. The Rev. Franklin Patschke will officiate. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Pillow.

Blanche M. Deppen, 88, formerly of Pillow, died Friday in Penn Lutheran Village, Selinsgrove.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Pillow, and a Charter member of Lykens Garden Club. She was a former member of Daughters of America, Pillow.
Her husband, Harvey A., preceded her in death.
Surviving are five sons, Forrest H. and Charles H., both of Pillow, Elwood F., Millersburg, William G., Selinsgrove, and James H.A., Halifax; a daughter, Beatrice F. Shade, Elizabethville area; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-greatgrandchild; a foster sister, Mildred Hepner, Elizabethville area.
Services were held this afternoon from Reed Funeral Home, Pillow. The Rev. John Grill officiated. Interment was in Grandview Cemetery, Pillow.
