Albert Hyram Klinger is also referred to as Heyram A. Klinger in some sources.2 He was born on 18 February 1872, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.3,4,5 Some sources record that Albert Hyram Klinger was born in February 1878, Pennsylvania.2 The 1900 Census lists "Heyram" as a son of Marcus and Elizabeth Klinger, but it is likely that this listing is a reference to their son Albert Hyram," although the birthdate appears to be inaccurate. The 1900 Census indicates that Elizabeth was the mother of only 5 children, all of whom were living in 1900. Her fifth child was born in 1874, 4 years before "Heyram," suggesting that this listing duplicates an earlier child. Also, there is no listing for a Heyram in the 1880 Census.6 He married Mabel Maude Rebuck, daughter of Jacob Rebuck and Susan Shaffer, circa 1913.4,7 At the time of the 1920 Census, Albert, a farmer, was head of a household that included one daughter, a servant, Mabel Rebuck, and his widowed mother, Eliza. Albert was listed as single at the time, but that is inconsistent with later Census records.8 Some sources suggest that Albert Hyram Klinger and Mabel Maude Rebuck were married after 1920 because, in the 1920 Census, Mabel was listed in Albert's household as single and a servant. Albert was also listed as single.8 In 1930, Albert and his family were living in Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, where he was a farmer. He and Mabel had been married about 16 years. Their household included 6 children and Albert's widowed mother.7 Albert Hyram Klinger died on 25 March 1960, Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, PA, at age 88.4,3,5 He was buried on 29 March 1960, at St. Michael's Church Cemetery, Klingerstown, Schuylkill County, PA.3,5
