Ruby Barbara Erdman, daughter of Wm. and Katherine Erdman, was born at Larned, Kan., January 9th, 1892, and died at Kansas City March 2d, 1914 aged 22 years, 1 mouth and 21 days.
She was married to Hu'gh Bay on Jan. 3rd, 1911. To this-union was born one child, Woodrow Erdman, born April 21st, 1913. She is survived by her husband, child, mother, one sister and three brothers.
The funeral was held last Thursday morning from the residence of the deceased's mother, the services being conducted by Rev. C. A. Kitch. Interment was in Larned cemetery.

Obituary Mrs. Hugh Bay.
F[u]neral serrices of Mrs. Hugh Bay of Kansas City, Mo., formerly Miss Ruby Erdman of Larned, were held Thursday morni[rn]g at 10:30 from the home of her mother, Mrs. Wm. Erdman, 108 west 13th street, Rev. C. A. Kitch of the Methodist church officiating. Interment was made in the family lot in Larned cemetery, beside the grave of her father.
Mrs. Bay died at her home in Kansas City late Monday evening. A message reached the Larned relatives Tuesday morni[N]g. She had been in a serious condition for several days, and her mother left Monday evening to hasten to her bedside. She was met at the train at Newton by Mrs. G. E. Starr, a sister of the deceased, who told her that Mrs. Bay was dead. The mother returned to Larned Tuesday, and the body of her daughter arrived here on Wednesday morning.
Ruby Barbara Erdman was born in Larned, Jan. 9, 1892. During girlhood see attended the Larned schools. She was converted to the Christian faith at an early age. She was married to Hugh Bay, Jan. 3, 1911, to which union one child, Woodrow Erdman Bay, was bora April 21, 1913. Besides her mother and her husband and baby the deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs. Starr of Newton, and three brothers Charles Erdman of Holly, Colo; and William and Raleigh of Larned. The last named brother was a twin of the deceased.
Death came at the age of 22 years, 1 month and 21 days, from nervous trouble from which she had suffered for years.

     Katherine Pauline Gauze was born on 14 February 1917, Alva, Woods County, OK.¹ She was the daughter of James Mathew Gauze and Helen Ellen Eller.¹ Katherine Pauline Gauze married Woodrow Erdman Bay, son of Hugh Bay and Ruby Barbara Erdman, in 1936.¹ Katherine Pauline Gauze died on 27 June 1993, Gardena, Los Angeles County, CA, at age 76.¹ She was buried at Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Jackson County, OR.¹

Erdman and Catharine Klinger.¹ William Brown Erdman married Helen Abe Hargis, daughter of Abraham Hargis and Mary Elizabeth Bollinger.³ William Brown Erdman died on 7 March 1975, Kingman, Kingman County, KS, at age 77.⁴ He was buried at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Kingman, Kingman County, KS.⁴

     Helen Abe Hargis was born on 11 March 1899, Marshfield, Webster County, MO.¹ She was the daughter of Abraham Hargis and Mary Elizabeth Bollinger.¹ Helen Abe Hargis married William Brown Erdman, son of William B. Erdman and Catharine Klinger.¹ Helen Abe Hargis died on 20 January 1996, Wichita, Sedgwick County, KS, at age 96.¹

Erdman and Catharine Klinger, on 11 July 1917, Larned, Pawnee County, KS.^1,2 Olive Amelia Vint died on 9 September 1969, Larned, Pawnee County, KS, at age 78.¹ She was buried at Larned Cemetery, Larned, Pawnee County, KS.¹

HUTCHINSON — Billie E. Frazier, 74, Hutchinson, died Thursday, Sept. 5,2002. Mrs. Frazier was born Billie Erdman on March 22, 1928, in Elk City, Okla. She was a former employee of Larned State Hospital and Social and Rehabilitation Services in Hutchinson.
Survivors include a son, David of Hays; two daughters, Lee Anne Lichte of Topeka and Jan Frazier-Clark of Raymore, Mo; a brother, Charles Erdman of Larned; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The funeral was Sept. 7 at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson 67501. Burial was in Memorial Park, Hutchinson.
