     Betty Mae Shetter was born on 4 August 1918, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA.^1,2 She was the daughter of Joseph Shetter and Lorean Wagner.¹ Betty Mae Shetter married Donald Eugene Klinger, son of Frederick Samuel Wilson Klinger and Minnie L. Hensel, on 19 December 1936, Lebanon County, PA.¹ Betty Mae Shetter died on 29 May 2011, Lebanon, Lebanon County, PA, at age 92.² She was buried at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, Lebanon County, PA.²

     Mae Elizabeth Klinger was born on 1 May 1913, Hershey, Dauphin County, PA.¹ She was the daughter of Frederick Samuel Wilson Klinger and Minnie L. Hensel.¹ Mae Elizabeth Klinger married Russell E. Rifine, son of Samuel Rifine and Tacie M. Ramsey, on 24 March 1945, Palmyra, Lebanon County, PA.²

Mrs. Mae (Klinger) Rifine, 44, wife of Russell E. Rifine, died suddenly at four oclock this morning at her home, 370 N. Van Buren here.
Dr. A. H. Heisey, county coroner, attributed death to a heart attack. Mrs. Rifine was a former resident of Palmyra. She had lived in Lebanon for the past three years.
A daughter of the late Fred and Minnie (Hansel) Klinger, she had formerly worked at the J. Landis Shoe Factory, Palmyra.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one brother, Donald E. Klinger of Lebanon.

Rifine married Mae Elizabeth Klinger, daughter of Frederick Samuel Wilson Klinger and Minnie L. Hensel, on 24 March 1945, Palmyra, Lebanon County, PA.¹ Russell E. Rifine died on 6 December 1970, at age 56.³ He was buried at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, Lebanon County, PA.³

     Ronald J. Klinger was born on 9 June 1944, Lebanon, Lebanon County, PA.¹ He was the son of Donald Eugene Klinger and Betty Mae Shetter.¹ Ronald J. Klinger died on 24 March 2014, Reading, Berks County, PA, at age 69.¹

Ronald J. Klinger, 69, of Reading, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 at home. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Herr) Klinger, with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage on March 23, 2014.
Born in Lebanon on June 9, 1944, he was a son of the late Donald E. Klinger and Betty Mae (Shetter) Klinger.
Ronald worked for and later retired from Hershey Foods. Retirement became boring, however, so he then worked at Manheim Auto Auction for eight years. He was an avid bowler and member of the Lebanon District Hall of Fame. He coached Little League and adult softball as well as junior league bowling. Ronald was a devoted Phillies fan who loved spending time with his dog, "Keisha".
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five children - Ronald C. Klinger, husband of Vicki Klinger, Tammy Klinger, wife of Wayne Hainly, Greg Kreiser, Jennifer Miranda, wife of Jerry Miranda, and Andrea Collazo, wife of Edgar Collazo; 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; two brothers - James and Michael Klinger; a sister, Frances Newhouse; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 31st at 11 AM with a visitation from 10-11 AM at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon 17042. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ronald's name may be made to The American Cancer Society, Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.
